"We’ve ordered fried rice, salt and pepper fish, and sweet and sour chicken. The food are nicely cooked and prepared. The fish was surprisingly have a nice crisp outside and soft inside. The sweet and sour chicken was prepared with an actual pineapple shell. However, considering the portion size we didn’t expect to pay more than $120 for 3-4 entrees."

"I have been coming to Thee for years since moving to the neighborhood, and it is my go-to for these dishes and if you order them, you cannot go wrong.1. Beef Cube Tomato Sauce Rice2. Salt and Pepper Tofu3. Satay Sauce BeefI have ordered #1 and #2 as my classic dishes for over 4 years. It is the best combination ever, imho. I love Thee purely for these dishes that I will order when I'm in a pinch or craving some comfort Chinese food. These dishes are 100% magic because you can pair the beef cube rice with the tofu, or each of the dishes separately with white white rice. And this might seem like a given but yes, I eat the beef cube rice with a side of white rice too, since the dish is so flavorful. This combo serves as two main dishes for me, as opposed to the beef cube rice being a base for the tofu.I have tried other things and a recent one in rotation is the Satay Sauce Beef. I grew up being very familiar with the satay flavors, so the aromatics make my mouth water every time. Another favorite recent addition is the hot and sour soup (small) and depending on mood, I will also throw in an Orange Chicken, Mongolian Beef, or a Buddhist Delight with soft tofu garlic sauce (as a sub for brown sauce).I love so many of the dishes here, and if you order over a certain amount (it might be around $30 but I'm not sure if this is up to date) you can choose a free add-on of crab rangoon or vegetable fried egg roll.I'd give ten stars to my favorite 3 staples, and a 5/5 to Thee overall. It's my favorite local Chinese take-out spot (I've never dined in) and I always call in my order with the restaurant directly, so all of the profits goes directly to the staff instead of a third-party delivery service. They even have parking because they're located in a strip mall right along North Ave. They're closed on Tuesdays, and otherwise open at 2pm but I would check their hours in advance just in case anything ever changes.TL;DRYou can't go wrong with your Chinese comfort food here. "Landed in Seattle late at night around 1am and we wanted some Chinese food. Thanks to the original place we planned to eat at were closing and didn't seat us, we were able to find Ho Ho across the street! SO MUCH ON THEIR MENU, my hungry eyes wanted everything but we each picked out a few entrees, in total 6 and that was just enough for the 4 of us. I got the abalone chicken congee and wow! So fragrant and so good!! A lot of chicken and abalone!! We ordered a few things like I mention but I personally love their chow fun and clams w/ oyster sauce! mmmm! Overall, everything we ordered was good. I was able to eat it and not get a stomach upset. For sure coming back when I come back to Seattle again! I love how late they're open also! Service was good (very important for business image! ! And they don't skimp out on anything on menu, plenty to have for yourself and sharing! Nice place, I'd come back again."

"My review shows how good food but poor service and bad policies can ruin a potentially great review. Good news is they are open late. Wife and I worked late and this was the only place around that was open after 11 that we wanted to try. Restaurant is set up in a good location with off street parking (free for 2 hours) so that was good. The exterior is in a large office/apartment building right off 10th street. Inside is very nice, and employees are polite and efficient. The restaurant was mainly empty, but for some strange reason they sat us right next to another guy (half table, long wall seat type seating) and then when more customers came in they crammed them in right next to us, too. My knee was almost rubbing against the guy next to me. He had to stick his ass in my face to sit down. Pay attention to the menu, as my wife ordered the pepper steak and I ordered the mooshu beef. Both tasted great and you get plenty of food, but the dinner meals don 't come with soup or egg rolls, unless you order the combo dinner. Funny thing is we didn 't notice this and the server did not mention it, and even more confusing the same pepper steak dinner combination with soup and egg roll, is even cheaper than the pepper steak by itself. Pepper steak solo was $11.75, and the pepper steak combo is $10.50. Huh?!?! So, we did enjoy the food, prices are reasonable, but then we got the check and they added a 20% service charge to the order!...and apparently expected a tip as well. LOL. Wow. We didn 't tip. Service: 1 star for not advising on menus and cramming us next to other people when place was almost empty. Location: 4 star, parking is off street but cramped. Cleanliness: place was clean and nicely appointed, plenty of seating. Food quality/quantity: food is good, but menu is quirky...pay attention Policies: Plan on being crammed together for no apparent reason, and remember they are going to slap a 20% service charge on you. Total review: 2 stars Even though food was good and they are open very late, I can 't recommend except for maybe takeout, if they don 't charge the extra 20% on takeout orders."

"I ordered preserved Pork and a thousand year egg congee, shrimp dumplings, and the pork belly rice. Everything was outstanding. The shrimp dumplings had far more shrimp in them than one normally has, the pork was melt in your mouth, and the congee hit all the right notes taste wise, though there seemed more egg than pork mixed in. I will be ordering from here again. A very satisfying meal and top quality. DoorDash is my new go to for restaurant delivery as well. What convenience!"

"Awesome food, cool mix of Chinese American classics plus the only dim sum outside of China Town which is actually very good and has a decent selection! Surprisingly good was the Mongolian chicken (we ordered x spicy). Everything was piping hot, fresh and tasty — tea was perfectly brewed. Only note — severely understaffed. "This listing is unclaimed for now. I wanted you to review this coffee house because the coffee was really great here. I really love someone whose passion for coffee shows in their conversations. The barista definitely was passionate about coffee and he was giving us suggestions on the coffee notes and how to test them if we want to try something new. The service was great. Ambiance was very hippie style I would say with lot of things at inexpensive place but very interesting. All in all, do check out this place if you are around astoria and you wouldn't be disappointed at all"
