"Our niece lives in Joliet, and we take her out to dinner about once a month. We tried Juliet 's Tavern several months ago, and since then we haven 't been anywhere else. When we make plans with our niece now, she just says let 's go to the usual place! (She 's a teenager, so that 's a high compliment! It 's nice because it 's become our special place with her. Food is excellent, from burgers/sandwiches/salads to steaks and pastas. The loaded tater tot appetizer is a regular for us as well (yummy! , along with the warm cookie with ice cream for dessert. It 's a small space on the restaurant side, but never overly noisy. Would be a nice spot for date night. We always make a reservation and have never had to wait for our table, even on Friday or Saturday nights. The bar on the other side has some tables for seating as well, and there is some seating outside, too, but we 've always sat in the indoor restaurant section. Service is excellent. We 've had Nick as our waiter several times and he always remembers us and is wonderful at his job. No matter who your server is though, all of the staff work together and food is always brought out hot and drinks and waters refilled without asking. We 've never had a bad meal and almost always have leftovers to bring home. Highly recommend Juliet 's Tavern, whether a casual meal, special occasion, or date night, you can 't go wrong here."
