"Itâs rare that youâll find a restaurant that hits it waaay out of the park with their food AND cocktails! Sugar Palm is a home run! They make this from called the Al Pastor with Mezcal, tequila and chefs specially prepared home made pineapple juice recipe. Deeelicious! We started with the thick cut garlic bread with Vegan butter and tomato habanero jam. It tasted exactly as it reads! The crunch of the bread with salt-sweet-heat! Yum! The spicy edamame was so good. I felt silly sucking on the skin after watering the bean, but it was so tasty. Ah, then the main courses! The beef skewers were incredibly full of flavor. The main star of our meal was the Porchetta! This will follow you to your dreams! Tender, juicy pork belly made even more savory with the soy ginger glaze! The ambiance is so very cool with the live DJ, string lights, beautiful outdoor fireplace. I have not been to a restaurant in Santa Monica that hits it on ALL cylinders the Sugar Palm does.
