"My wife was treated at UCLH for a RARE cancer and whilst she was being treated there, we visited this amazing authentic Mexican restaurant. On Valentines day we revisited the hospital to donate the money raised from the charity I set up in her honour. This was my Valentines gift to my soulmate. I had to re book whilst being in London, so the only place I could go was this amazing restaurant. I can not tell you how special it was for me and my beautiful daughter to sit there enjoy the unbelievable food, the truly loving atmosphere, and remember my time there with my late wife. Daniel the owners son was touched and felt our journey. What a true gentleman. He is a credit to his parents and the restaurant. I will 100% be back when I am next in London. Thank you all for such a special evening."

"The restaurant and bar has a lovely atmosphere, and the cocktails are quite good. However, they were late in seating us, and it took 20 minutes for us to order drinks even after we seated ourselves. The food was disappointing; the seabass ceviche was overcooked and very fishy with little flavor. Overall, everything took a long time to arrive, and it was difficult to get the attention of the staff. The experience felt a bit chaotic and disorganized."

"Perfect in every way. The food is absolutely impeccable, the service is intimate and friendly, this restaurant is one of my top picks in London and is definitely the best hidden gem in this city that I’ve been to."

"Oh, what a delightful evening of fine dining and impeccable service! We were aware of the 2-hour table turnaround, a rule as sacred as ancient rituals but, alas, not consistently followed by mere mortals, I mean, restaurants. The food, an ephemeral delight that momentarily distracted us from impending eviction, particularly the oysters, which deserve an encore. After our grand feast, a proclamation was made in the most gracious manner: Out you go! No alternative seating offered, not even a spot at the bar to revel in our impending exile. It was a friend 's birthday, and what better way to celebrate than being unceremoniously kicked out before the dessert and the joyous serenade of Happy Birthday ? Seeking solace, I summoned the manager, who, in an act of managerial prowess, dispatched minions to chant the sacred mantra of the 2-hour table rule. In my quest for compensation, I was met with robotic responses and a generous offer to waive the discretionary service charge – a gesture as heartfelt as a rock. Not once were we graced with a reminder of the sacred 2-hour rule, nor did the waitstaff perform with the urgency befitting a Michelin-starred sprinter. The pièce de résistance? The epic saga to settle the bill, a riveting 25-minute ordeal where we could 've devoured a dessert, sang the birthday anthem, and maybe even choreograph a dance routine. Shocking service indeed, a performance deserving of a standing ovation – or maybe just a swift exit and a vow to never return."

"**Dine-In Dinner Review** **Price per Person:** £30–40 **Food:** ★★★★★ **Service:** ★★★★★ **Atmosphere:** ★★★ I enjoyed a delightful dinner at this restaurant. The food was outstanding, earning a perfect five stars for its quality and flavors. The service was equally impressive, with attentive and friendly staff who made the experience even more enjoyable. However, the atmosphere was a bit lacking, with a three-star rating, as it could use some improvements to make it more inviting. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience!"

"The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and a friendly waitress. However, some of the food seemed to be pre-prepared and not heated properly. The dishes were also served out of order, causing some diners to wait longer than others. The most disappointing part was when a vegetarian in our group found meat in their dish, despite discussing the contents beforehand. The manager was aware of the situation but did not offer an apology or address the issue. Overall, it was a disappointing experience."

"Pleasant ambience. Charming, helpful waitress. However, some of the food, having been pre-prepared was not heated through thoroughly. Dishes also arrived really haphazardly, leaving some of us with food while others waited another 5 minutes or more. The worst aspect of the meal was when a vegetarian member of the group, despite a prior conversation about the contents of a paricular dish, found meat in his food. It was also disappointing that the manager, who clearly knew what was happening, slipped away without an apology or even an acknowledgement. Very disappointing."

"Delicious Food Every Time!. I 've been going here since they opened and have never been disappointed! Great, friendly, little hole in the wall place. Used to be a best kept secret but it 's now it 's always bustling during peak hours. The taco selections are terrific. My faves are the tilapia chorizo. Love their table sauces fresh guacamole. Great homemade real food not junk food flavor to everything. I am stunned at some of the negative reviews I 'm wondering if it isn 't some kind of mistake? Is this the same restaurant we 're talking about on Prince St. in Lancaster, PA? Weird! Oh, well. I highly recommend them."

"However, I noticed a few things that felt a bit off. It was a little uncomfortable watching servers walk through the new waiting area with customers' food orders, and it felt strange to walk through the pizza kitchen on the way to being seated in Sherrie's Happy Place. We were informed by the staff that the ambiance was meant to be reminiscent of a speakeasy, but it actually felt quite bright and was accompanied by somewhat loud pop music. Again, these are simply my observations and opinions. Personally, I prefer the restaurant's seating area for its more romantic feel, and I will definitely return for the amazing food!"

"Armed with a certificate from Zomato, I drove to this restaurant for lunch with two colleagues. This place had a lot to live up to in comparison to the Burrito trend that seems to be sweeping London during lunchtime, but unfortunately it did not quite meet expectations. The variety of meat fillings was impressive, but the bark tinga did not seem to be of the highest quality despite its promised stamp of approval. The guacamole was complimentary compared to other places, but one of my colleagues found there to be too much rice in her veggie burrito. In general, the lack of customers when we entered was perhaps a reflection of how this place compared to others. My search for the perfect London burrito continues. I may just have to write another blog post about it."

"Amazing!!! I am Peruvian, and this place reminds me of the restaurants I used to go to with my family when I was young! I've been a few times so far, including once with a large group of people, and we've always been easily accommodated and treated with smiles. Here are my reviews of some of the dishes: Lomo Saltado (beef stir-fry with chips): This is probably my favorite Peruvian dish ever; it's my go-to comfort food. The flavors are excellent. The dish is very generous, and I was able to happily enjoy my leftovers the next day! Anticuchos (beef heart): My boyfriend tried this dish for the first time ever, and he really enjoyed it! It might make some people a bit squeamish, but it's honestly a delicious dish that goes excellently with some boiled potatoes. Ají de gallina (spiced/creamy chicken) Another one of my comfort foods, this was delicious and was a VERY generous portion. Excellent to have half in the restaurant and use the rest the next day for sandwich filling! Yuca a la huancaína (fried cassava): Delicious. Perfectly fried yuca with some dipping sauce. I only wish there had been more! Ají sauce (green, spicy sauce): I didn't have any of this, as I am horrid with spicy sauces, BUT my Indian and Persian friends who came fell in love with this sauce so much that they requested to take some back with them after our meal! My one critique thus far is with the drinks: I haven't been able to try their chicha morada yet, so I'm not sure if it's homemade or from a mix or from a bottle, and when we ordered Inka Cola, we were given Andina Cola (really similar, but technically not the same). Small points to mention, but important to know regardless! I will say that our fruit drinks were freshly made and very good! Everyone who works here has been really lovely and friendly, and every time I've been there, Peruvians have been eating there. If that's not a glowing review to try it for authentic Peruvian food, I don't know what is! I honestly can't wait to go again and have other dishes on the menu!"
