"This got long so I'll leave the bullets to start -super friendly -charming look -good steak and soup -not so good for fish or dessert -refeshingly charming full of character and an old school class you don't see much of these days -old school European type vibes Walked in exspecting it to not be busy based on google, it was very busy so make reservations unlike alot of places they actually do reservations! The place has a realy neat look it felt like a cool old building had been perfectly preserved. I don't think I've met a friendlier staff even customers were friendly(they get alot of regulars, loyal repeat business is a good sign). Ordered French onion soup to start and a came with cornbread, huge bowl and both very good. We were seated on the patio, it was a cute little patio. We were really in love with this new (to us) place so far but then it went a lil less perfect but still very charming. My spouce got the prime rib which was superb, perfectly cooked great seasoning. I got salmon, it was not great kinda as it was over cooked but I guess mabey I shouldn't get fish at place that seems to realy shine when it comes to meats. We ordered desert to go. I probably should have checked before leaving but we did not get the desserts we ordered and they were the tiniest lil peices of what seemed like pie from the freezer section so that was pretty disappointing I was excited to see banana cream pie at a restaurant too. So to sum it up there were a couple mistakes (and mistakes can happen anywhere) and even at that I am absolutely 100% going to be coming back and probably soon and would recomend it to others just don't get fish or pie. There sadly are not many restaurants like this anymore it's a great friendly family owned place that does old school classy things like reservations, candeles and packaging your take home contains for you...this place is a rare gem these days. The look and over all vibe made me feel like i was back in Europe or some how transported to a better period in resturants. Sadly these are not things you see much of any more as snooty over priced hipster spots keep popping up everywhere a classic old fashioned family owned restaurant with heart is such a refreshing thing and I wish more places were like this. Also it seemed very clean and well kept and like the staff really cared about the place and custumers.
