"I didn’t think I would love it this much, but I do! I went with a friend on a Saturday night for dinner. First off, the service was superb, just so warm and welcoming. I believe our server’s name was Coco. I’m so sorry if I got her name wrong, I went in so tired and hungry, and I only caught her name once. But with the kind of good service, you would know it was her.That said, we ordered the soft shelled crab spring rolls and Lomo Saltado, with an order of pandan garlic rice. The portion was not, at first glance, what we usually get as “family style”, but it was enough for two people who were moderately to, at least one of us, very hungry ? and we had some Lomo Saltado and pandan garlic rice to go.The star of these orders was the flavors and texture. The soft shelled crab spring rolls were so fresh and refreshing. The sauce accompanied the flavors just right. And the spring rolls themselves had really well-balanced flavor palette and well-assembled texture of ingredients. Nothing too crunchy or too pungent, just light enough to intrigue you for a good meal.The Lomo Saltado with the pandan garlic rice were such a good combination, that’s a proud choice of pairing on our part; though now I’m curious about other dishes. The texture of the beef tenderloin in Lomo Saltado was so soft but still maintained the bounciness and juice of freshness. The flavor, let me tell you about the flavor, was perfectly savory with a hint of smoke. And the black pepper just added the perfect kick to wrap up a nice aftertaste.Then there is the pandan garlic rice, just an uplifting flavor that you wouldn’t expect too much of from a garlicky dish. With the garlic, of course the fragrance was strong, but the pandan added a nice lift to the flavor that makes you think of the sweet coconut rice and aromatic jasmine rice, but adding a nutty, almost herbal flavor to it. Nothing was left feeling heavy or salty which is such a wonderful feeling to have after a meal.My friend said she would come back, I think I will, too. Though I don’t frequent this area, I’m glad to have tried a good restaurant in it! Highly recommend!"
