"KUMO GOT ME THROUGH BAR EXAM PREP! I had kumo multiple times a week while at home studying for the bar exam for two months straight and every time I was so happy because the food is delicious. I even decided that lunch special chicken terriakyi was what I’d have for the first day of the Bar Exam, so my dad picked it up and brought it to the hotel I was taking it in in Uniondale during my lunch break. I cannot recommend this place enough!!! Their lunch special are reasonable priced and they give a great amount! I’ve also been eating here since I went to VSN north and will keep continuing to do so! "My favorite place on Staten Island for sushi. Food is excellent, service was always great, the staff is top notch. You can’t get better then that. For Christmas I get gift cards for everyone on my list from there and they all thank me for the great choice. "We came for a quick dinner passing by and were pleasantly surprised at Mizu. I find it one of those simple and sincere sushi places that have a low key decor but welcoming and friendly host and waitresses, and a high quality food. Everything we ordered tasted good and was done right. The sushi was very fresh. The dragon roll was excellent, for example. The bill was surprisingly moderate, considering the area. We came again other night, and will do it again."

"Went to Nikko restaurant with my family twice. The service was excellent. The food sushi, General Tso's Chicken, Schezuan Beef, soup, deserts, drinks were excellent as well. I love the ambiance, the lighting was perfect. Only thing is that people at the bar and hibachi area can get loud and annoying but have some warm sake and you will fit right in. I really like this place since Hunan Balcony and our other favorite restaurant China Fun closed, this is definitely my family's new favorite restaurant.This is an Update: July 9th 2023 My family and I have ordered Nikko for delivery through UberEats several times but today my family member ordered two different dinners soups and salads including an appetizer crab Shumai. Food seemed a bit unorganized and shuffled in the bag but bag was stapled as usual, everything was spilled and leaking that was unusual generally when when we received an order every thing is organized and no soups leaking. Upon eating two bites of the shrimp and broccoli and General Tso's and crab Shumai. I immediately threw up, this food was completely rotten and had a chemically taste. I cannot believe we ate some of this rotten food, everything had to be thrown out immediately after consuming a bit of the food we all became ill from the chemically taste and realized the putrid smells fumigating from the bag it was delivered in this is definitely a food safety issue and I hope the food inspectors will investigate thier kitchen and cooks Unfortunately we will not be ordering again. I hope this restaurant will realize just how fast they can lose great customers by not checking the quality of the food they send out to their loyal customers. I'm very disappointed in this place as we have been ordering here for a while now. But fortunately for us there are many other great Chinese/Thai restaurants who have better quality control and will not deliver rotten/chemically tasting food to their customers."

"The fried tofu with broccoli in brown sauce was delicious. The tofu was a bit tough and over fried but the sauce made up for that in being robust with flavor. There is something about how broccoli absorbs a good sauce that makes broccoli mouth watering. The thai iced tea was not sweet but still hit the spot in being refreshing and cooling."

"Probably the best kept secret in Montclair. Family owned and operated. The daughters are knowledgeable and the father make sushi that is consistently great. We picked up recently after not going out for months. It was great even though we had to pick it up due to no indoor dining. Happy to see the tradition of high quality continues. Prices more reasonable than other sushi places is a plus."
