"The service wasn't great. No one seemed to know what they were doing. We ate Asian inspired and the salt and chilli chicken was so try it was hard to eat. The raspberry daiquiri was very bitter so not great. We were at an event in the radisson so was great that we could have something so close but all 8 of us wernt really impressed at all. We attend the radisson alot so maybe this time was just due to festive period qa we beverage really had problems before x Suzanne"

"Very poor. More like a takeaway with tables. Didn’t have the options advertised on their website. Order via a QR code and pay upfront. No waiting staff- just servers. Food took half an hour to come and it all comes at once (starters mains) and then the drinks came after. Food was edible but nothing special. Toilets weren’t clean. I will never go back"

"I was searching for a restaurant for a pre-theatre meal and a special place to celebrate my husband's birthday. The ambience and authenticity were fantastic, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, we opted for the set menu priced at £35 per person. The quality of the food was outstanding, but we wished there were more dishes and larger portions per person. For example, we ordered the teriyaki salmon and there was only one piece that we had to share. I felt that since we were paying per person, the portions should have been more equal. However, the dessert was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and visit again, but I would be more cautious with my food choices. It is a perfect location for a pre-theatre meal near the Royal Albert Hall."

"Great sushi and other japanese fare. Wife and I have been here many times but I always forget to take pictures so I haven't reviewed it before now. The food here isn't trying anything new, but it does what it does well. Not even going to pretend to know how to spell the japanese names for the dishes, but we had; Fried Calamari, lovely buttery taste pairs well with the spicy mayo. 7/10 Octopus balls, crunchy on the outside, gooey on the inside. Great stuff 8/10 Miso soup, their miso has a great depth of flavour and I get it basically every time, 8/10 The venue is fairly small and usually pretty popular so you might struggle to walk in without a booking if you're a larger group, but for a group of 2-4 you should have no issues. It's a little bit on the pricey side, but if you like good japanese food this is place to get it."

"Fantastic little sushi restaurant in Stockbridge with an absolutely amazing atmosphere, really recommend getting one of the sushi sets purely for the plate in the shape of a boat! My only gripe is that they don’t accept card payement, was a hassle finding a machine and then having to police how much we could spend there, really hope they offer a form of electronic payment in the future, And my only other gripe was the wine being served in a tumbler, took away a lot of the flavours of the wine, But regardless of these the fish was fresh and the gyoza delicious"

"I lived in london in the late 80s and there were only 2 sushi bars in the city, one in the Mitsukoshi business and the other, a small but expensive in covent gardens. the brides have eaten nothing that looked like it might have been alive in these days! there were rarely any boobs in each restaurant, but how the dings have changed. at my first night in london in many years I was happy to find her me sushi a short walk from my hotel. I was dressed by the various poke dishes on the menu, but her sashimi looked even better and spent a few weeks in hawaii, I decided for the sashimi. it was totally keto friendly and delicious! I was suspicious because it was packed and was ready to go, but I ate. the maguro and lieb (salmon) was first quality and a well dimensioned part. there was only enough salat with seaweed and soy/caster/adventure to make a perfect and efficient evening meal. I will return during my 10-day stay. the personal was friendly and attentive. I spent as much as $300 per head at the likes of Kabuto-edomae sushi in las vegas and orlando, you me sushi was a really pleasant experience, cost effective and would also be a fantastic take away. but wait. there is more! her miso soup was first class!"

"the best sushi ever in Great Britain! only cash we loouowwwve sushi, and of course here has a lot of delicious food in edinburgh. but this one I must say is not a doubt to be the best we have tried so far. environment: tiny, but the decor is beautiful. not so many sit, so they come better early or make them just a reservation. service: friendly! especially if they have ordered too much, they would try to stop them and ask them to order later after they have finished their first orders. the foods were very fresh and delicious. the price is acceptable. highly recommended, should everyone be checklist if they ever want to come to edinburgh. of course we come back again and again and again."

"I was here on Saturday night and had the most amazing food! my favorite Appetiser court had to be the catifi prawns that were by far the best prawns I had in a long time, I had to stop to order more! Shortly followed by the grilled aubergins that tasted like erdnusbutter and seetang! for the net I was melted away from the black cadry and truffles! then the sushi wore the foie gras was extraordinary! Last but not least the cocktails overtaken by the barman was super well known and made me a gin-based martini! overall we had an incredible evening with excellent eating and great service! "When I was invited to review Murakami I spent some time trying to work out why I thought I’d been there before. That sense of deja vu came not from a restaurant but from a series of books which I have sitting on my shelf including ‘The Wind Up Bird Chronicle’ and ‘Kafka on the Shore’. In fact, the restaurant is intended to be an Izakaya, a kind of Japanese gastro-pub where you can eat and drink in a relatively informal setting. "Birthday Treat On 14/08/24 I family and a friend attended here. I gave my name to Daniella and she said our friend was waiting downstairs. I was wearing on my head a happy birthday head band. My name saying happy birthday was not put up on the screen. Later Daniella approached me and asked if I gave my name and I said yes I asked why my name and happy birthday was not on the screen. She said she will put it up after several hours it was not up and I told the lady manager that I was disappointed with the appalling customer service and will not pay service charge. She said ok. I asked if there were any complementary dessert for the birthday person and I was told I have to buy my own dessert. My family member bought the dessert and I told the restaurant that I cannot have milk however, when the dessert came it contained milk. The lady manager came and said oh you dessert with a candle contains milk and it was taken away and gave me another without milk. When the final bill was presented service charge was still added. The chef Edele was excellent and very respectful. My happy birthday greeting with my name was on the screen when we were ready to go home. I would not return to this restaurant again because of bad customer service,disrespectful to me and ruin my birthday."
