"with the whole food competition in the Madison area, the quality of the entrees was not compatible with the price. I pay $25 for a great escape. quality was not there. the sides were limited and did not fit well with all the escapes. Premium pages were an upgrade. we had the Weggu-Burger, which I would rate at 6.5/10 and tas hot comby, which was 7/10."

"Had a great experience. Started with a nice seat location as requested. Our server, Brittany, was prompt and helpful. She tuned into our pace for dinner and was respectful of that. Ordered a dinner salad to split. They portioned it into two plates for us which was great. The portion size was big for a modest charge and it was an excellent salad. The blackened Mahi-mahi was rather small and not really blackened as you would expect. However it was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The green beans were fresh and done just right. Probably the best mushroom risotto I have ever had. The stuffed chicken breast was one of the best my wife has ever had. Didn’t need the sage sauce annd we kept that on the side. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The coating was light and the seasoning was perfect. The brussel sprouts are the best you will get anywhere. We don’t even care for brussel sprouts, but always order them here. They brought us two glasses of champagne for our anniversary and a brownie/ice cream dessert. Unexpected and appreciated. Really nice touch. Restaurant has an interesting and diverse menu you just don’t get elsewhere. Kudos to the chef and the owners for the care and thought they put into it."

"I went there for a birthday brunch with family. I had been to another location for a happy hour and was eager to try the food this time. The service was good (they brought out a little happy birthday sign for the table) and quick. The food came out at a reasonable time and everything we ordered was delicious. I'd say it's the perfect place to go if you are looking for an elevated spot to dine."

"I was hoping for a solstice celebration meal, saw the holiday menu on social media and thought it sounded festive with a nice holiday ambiance. It was nice enough but basically a bar at holiday time serving a special menu. My mistake, but, as a senior, I couldn’t recommend this location as a restaurant experience- a nice bar but not a restaurant."

"We ate here in a trip to NYC and decided it was so good we had to come again. And the food was really good this time as well. But service wasn’t as good. We had to ask for water multiple times and when we were leaving, we were handed a device to pay for our bill. No paper copy and no explanation of how to use it. The menu said they charge a service fee for 8 or more and we were only 7. But we found a service charge already on the bill. And the device asks you to add gratuity. Very sneaky. And then once you figure out how to use your card to pay, it has no way to print a receipt. The option is grayed out. So I tried to add my email to get a receipt that way and it wouldn’t work. I called the waiter over and showed him it didn’t work. He couldn’t get it to work either and couldn’t print me a receipt. He played with it and told me it finally worked but alas, I have never received the receipt. Who knows who he sent it to but it wasn’t to my email. It all made me very uncomfortable!! Will go again because the food was good but cash only!!"

"Recently I visited a friends birthday party at Diamond Mills Tavern, First I will give credit where credit is due I ordered a Tavern Burger with parmesan Fries (the meal was excellent). The only problem was that my friend paid the full price for a champagne toast (for 15 people) and the champagne for the toast was replaced by a cheaper non-alcoholic champagne and my friend calculated the full price for the alcoholic champagne. Watch them to make sure you get what you order."

"This was not what I was hoping for. The restaurant was deserted and they only had 5 items available on the menu. My husband and I decided to share a steak sandwich and a salad for our meal. The salad ended up being better than the sandwich. We were disappointed to find out it was more of a bar than an actual restaurant."
