"I visited Homecourt by Tracy McGrady for the first time earlier today to catch an NFL game, have lunch and some drinks. From the outside looking in I was expecting a gimmicky sports bar with mediocre food as seems to be the case with restaurants associated with celebrities. However, I was pleasantly surprised. This is a nice sports bar with plenty of TVs, comfortable bar stools, and cool clean décor. The bar also features some local craft beers on tap. The food was delicious. I started with the T-Mac's PB&J Burger because it was highlighted on the menu seemingly as a specialty. The burger was prepared to a nice juicy medium rare as I requested and was topped with meaty bacon, melty cheddar cheese, sweet jelly and creamy peanut butter that worked very nicely. The side of fries was nicely crisp and savory. Next I tried some Bone-In Wings which were large, meaty and juicy with a crisp outside. Beer-Battered Onion Rings came out next. Super crisp breading was filled with soft meaty onion and paired with a creamy tangy lightly spicy sriracha-lime sauce. Finally I tried the Spinach Artichoke Dip. Crisp salty tortilla chips were perfect for dipping in the hot, gooey and cheesy dip. Overall, Homecourt is a great place to catch the game with quality food and drinks and is now my go to sports bar in Lakeland."
