"We've eaten at Southerleigh at the Pearl and really enjoyed, so we were excited to try Haute South at The Rim. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the service was great, we highly recommend it! We started out with the meat pies, which were phenomenal! They come in a dish of gravy and were fresh and delicious. I had the Haute Chicken Sandwich and was thrilled by every bite. It's a unique spicy chicken with a little sweetness. My wife had the Crab Cakes and loved them, they paired well with the light avocado salad. My Father in law had the gumbo (a giant bowl! and he said if was great. My boys had cheeseburgers and fries, both of which were great. The buns are hearty and sweet, and the fries were maybe some of the best we've had! We finished it off with the pecan caramel bread pudding wow, delicious! We absolutely recommend Southerleigh Haute South (especially for families and will be back soon!"
