"We had a party of 16 so my comments can be wrong. The best part of the dinner were the appetizers. The meatball sliders were excellent. Large portion could have served as an entire meal. The roll was real, not a soggy hamburger bun and the cheese and sauce was perfect. The calamari plate was also very big, the calamari were not oily and were crisp. The baked chicken wings were tasty and large with the portion enough to serve as an entire meal. I didn't try the sauce because the wings were good enough but when I tried to get some, the large portion was gone, eaten by the other guests. My only complaint about the appetizers came from the tuna which tasted a little fishy although the dish otherwise was fresh. For my entree, I chose the steakhouse burger which was a combination of four cuts of beef, covered with cheese, fried onions and a Chipotle sauce. I ordered it medium rare and came medium but it was tasty nevertheless. The fish tacos came in a tray with 2 surprisingly small tacos. The fish was well prepared with fresh veggies but the sauce had no flavor. The chicken with burratta and a red sauce was perfect as was the short ribs. The fried chicken sandwich was just good. The popcorn chicken taco was tasty as was the short rib one. We were very happy without dessert but tried the tirimissou which did not disappoint. Prices were very reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food"

"Grabbed a pizza to-go from Sorrento's on Saturday afternoon. A very solid pie, assisted by their expertise in fresh ingredients and high-quality meats. Quality: Sorrento's is a well-known butcher shop in Long Beach, which has gained a great reputation for its pizza. So when visiting the area, decided to give it a shot. We ordered a Large Pie with Sausage and Mushrooms. My verdict is very good, largely thanks to the high quality toppings. The pizza itself is a bit doughy for my taste, making the corners a tough sell, but everything loaded on top is excellent. The sauce is fantastic, the cheese is great, though expect it a little gummy, and the sausage was out of this world. If I had to do it again I would stack on a few of their meats and some spots of ricotta, and I'm sure it would be a hit. Quantity: A Large Pizza is absolutely massive. Easily enough for 6 people to feast on. Value: $26 for a Large Pizza. $3-$6 for Additional Toppings on a Large. Ambiance: Sorrento's is a butcher and pizza shop located in Long Beach on Long Island. The shop has been around a while, and the green awning is well known to all residents of the area. They have a few tables outside, plus some more inside. Most folks seemed to be grabbing food to go, but it did seem like they were allowing a small number to eat-in. The inside of the space is bright and full of delicious food. It is tough to walk in for your order and not pick up a few other items to bring with you. Crowd: Call in your order as soon as they open. We were lucky to grab one of the last time slots available, but easily could have missed out. Service: Friendly staff doing the best they can to keep up with orders, while still getting guests the pizza they crave. Parking: Plenty of street parking in the area."
