Not worth for the food you get.The sad part is if you visit this restaurant, you’ll end up paying more than what you’d pay if you had the same food from other indian restaurants nearby. 15% service fee for literally zero service. Not recommended anytime for anyone."

"I’m feel so so lucky to have had my wedding here. All the guests kept commenting on how beautiful the space is, and how great the food was. George, the owner, and Nina, our coordinator, worked with us from beginning to end, providing excellent, honest service. They even dealt with my crazy mother (who upturned the main table right before the guests were about to be seated and requested “Eternal Flame” to be played three times) so deftly that nor I or my guests noticed that anything went wrong at all. The food was excellent, the cups never went dry, and the attention to detail of the service staff was awesome. Thank you again George and Nina!!!"

"looks like an saloon. beautiful saloon, but not to eat. but the back terrace is very nice. free space. comfortable seats, environment. the menu is good in that it has ordinary bare food, burger, fries, etc., but also full dinner lures that were very good. Crab with pasta and salmon with sweet potato puree were very good and cheap. schishito paprika were but thick baked and fried. I just like them simple, with salt. good drinklist. service attentive. friendly staff overall."

"We have vibe was dope music spectacular... the food was ok... drinks were good. We had a server that was not too happy to be served. We were glad they exchanged them for a designated driver from the park. He was definitely in a better mood. But recently, I had an awful experience at Stellas with their customer service wherein the guy at the cash counter(bald short guy with a mustache) was super rude to me for no reason. I have seen this guy for the past 6 months , earlier their service and staff was super but since this guy has come their service and atmosphere has been very iffy. This guy tries to make nasty comments to customer which drives a lot of customers away. Please take the needful action against this guy to avoid any future negative customer runaway because of this shrewdest, ignorant , inhospitable lead front end staff member who is their at the cash counter"

"As someone who grew up in Jersey City in the 90s and 00s, I came here looking for an ole fashioned Jersey City style slice, and was not disappointed! Delicious pizza, with the cheese perfectly melty. Bonus, the garlic knots were also very good. I hope Helen 's stays open for a long, long time but given that it is surrounded by the The Gentrifiers (Tm) up and down Newark Ave., I am cynical about its prospects to withstand the onslaught of more hip hipster? pizza places in the area. In the meantime, I will frequent Helen 's and support its business while its still around."

"I'm from California, so I'm pretty critical about my Mexican kitchen. I was very pleasantly surprised to find this wonderful little corner restaurant in jersey city when I visited my son. my sohn (lacto/ovo vegetarian) had the super mission bay burrito mais, drilling, rice, guacamole, sour looked. I am a vegan and had the vegan with sweet burrito bean, brown rice, grilled vegetables, guacamole on a whole weizen tortilla. we caught a side tear for the baby, and my son had a fabulous smooth, all for $24. they get a selection of chips or salat and pico de gallo salat on the side. I asked about something spicy salsa, they brought a very beautiful green tomatillo, nice pleasant bite, not very sharp. they order at the counter, we sat at a table very cozy chairs. it looked like they're doing a nice business. I would also like to try the vegetarian dish. perfect lunch on Saturday!"

"an eclectic local jersey city (paulus hook) bistro. for everyone there is something. try the kung pao cauliflower as an appetizer. wild mushroom pizzeta was decadent good. our waitress was very friendly and knew when we came to the table and when we were giving time. the bartender has lifted our wine glasses to the end of the meal, which was a professional note. I will definitely return and recommend this to friends."

"I can't find out why people's negative reviews leave for the life of me. the prices are on the point for the opposite, the staff are some of the most friendly people I have met in new jersey, raju and saad take care of me every time, and that eating is amazingly delicious. the lunch buffet is spectacular every time. they really care about the customer and come from a place of authenticity and ease. I really believe that people have only tormented American Indian cuisine if they feel that it is missing. I live near newark and the Indian food outside there is much more expensive, and smaller portions. it is worth definitiw. 5 stars each time."

"I placed my order at 4:15. I ordered a 24 pizza with extra cheese, a meatball parmigiana sandwich, chicken parmigiana sandwich, 2 orders of garlic bread, an order of chicken fingers and fries. I was told it will be here within 45 minutes. I am so glad that I tried this place because I am glad with all that I have ordered and they even gave me a 2-liter soda. The bill was close to $84.00 but I gave the delivery person $100.00 with the tip. I'm happy!"

"The food was delicious, the service was great. However, the place was dirty, the floors had food all over them, the windows were filthy. I don't know what happened to the cleanliness but it has definitely gone down. When we entered the hotel the windows were dirty. We took a walk along the side of the hotel and each hotel room window was filthy. It was not as impressive as I remembered it about 6 years ago."

"I discovered this restaurant on Instagram, I was so excited to go. I planned date night. Excited with expectations that unfortunately we’re not met. It did not feel like a winter Wonderland aside from the minimal decorations at the doorway there was nothing else. My table was wobbly which was frustrating. I do want to say that they were extremely accommodating due to the rainy weather+traffic I was late and they did not have a problem with it. The waitress was lovely, but very forgetful. We ordered steak frites and lollipop wings w fries. My dates food came out and mine came about 10 minutes later. I did not even take pictures of my plate because the pictures on Instagram versus reality Were true disappointment same for the drink. It just looked like juice in a wine glass. The steak was tender, although a bit dry. My fries came out after I finished my wings and were extremely over seasoned to the point that I could not eat them because they were too salty. They had potential but were over seasoned. The first drink my date ordered was a Casamigos drink and it taste exactly like syrup+medicine. Eventually, they kindly swapped it out for a Casamigos margarita. The staff was lovely, I think I just had higher expectations. I will give it another go in the summertime, maybe the view would be a better distraction to entertain us for the long wait times for the food"
