"General Today we were in the port of Konstanz and strolled through the old town. For lunch it should be an Italian restaurant. We decided on the table stand, a vinegar and oil bottle with label. Opposite the port, just before the beginning of the pedestrian zone, it is located directly on the road at the underpass to the port. Here you come directly into all areas. Parking is available in the area in the paid parking spaces. We only discovered free and only Sundays. We were kindly greeted by an Italian in wise shirt, black trousers and diocese pink and had free space. He gave us the opened cards and we have time to pick up the drinks. These were served quickly, just like the dishes. He wished us a good appetite, asked if we were satisfied. The empty plates were quickly noticed and the question was whether it would have cost us. We've been fully satisfied so far. Now it comes to point drawing. There were some waiters on the street and we sat a few times unnoticed in front of empty glasses until then finally my look and the handmark was recognized to order for the bill. He thanked us for a nice day. If some waiters are on the go, you should not sit so long before empty glasses and not be noticed. 4 stars The menu consists of a brown cover with the imprint of the place. There are bets. The map is beautifully built with typical Italian dishes. We ordered a Erdinger alcohol-free wheat and a Maltese dark wheat at 3.50€ each. To eat the Insalata Sportiva, mixed salad with fried turkey stripes and mushrooms 11,40€ and the Rigatoni Arrabiata with tomatoes, garlic and sharp peperoni 8,30€ The Arrabiata sauce had a beautiful tomato flavor, seasoned, in addition with fresh herbs, a light garlic note and a certain sharpness supplemented by fresh sharp peperoni slices. It was very good. The Rigatoni, I'd rather say Penne was cooked too much. On the salad plate were various leaf salads, yellow ointments, white spices, blue spices, cucumbers, tomatoes, rocket and dress. The ingredients were all very fresh and covered with a delicious balsamicodressing. The fresh mushrooms are beautifully fried and delicious. The plaster strips are very delicate and juicy roasted, but spicy. But here we had the opportunity to throttle, there were mills. There was a basket with baguett bread discs that were a bit firm in consistency, not so our case. There's a stone opener here, why don't you bake little pizza rolls? We choose 4 stars. Conclusion Good food with good service, the pizzas also looked delicious and smells good. At Plv we do something hard, we are used at our Bavarian prices. After some already read menus we say it is also good, again happy. The outdoor area is located on the street, but is defined by transparent partitions and flowers from the street noise. There are large olive trees and different palm trees. The seat consists of brown rattan chairs and wooden tables in round and square. The sun is kept away from bright large parasols. On the table there are pepper and salt mills, not the usual scatterers and Balsamico vinegar and extra virgin olive oil. The cutlery is in a bag with napkin and is on the table in a basket. I don't want to have something like this for the outdoors. To sit together and quickly what food we find it good. The star rating refers exclusively to the outdoor area, 4 stars. What we have never seen, there was a small area in advertising on the toilets in the mirror, which is not all. Cleanliness It was all clean in the outdoor area, good nature lets you fall quickly, but I can't talk about it. On the toilets you should be more precise dust wipe, otherwise clean. 4 stars. This has nothing to do with the place now, but would like to mention that it is possible to explain food under the table. On the side table a lady sat on the birds all the time with her pizza edge. There were no more birds and she threw her pizza under the table and the slices stayed there. That's a secret. The next sits and sneaks in the place because it is not clean."

"The constancy at the end of the summer holiday can also become unpleasant. The harbour master shines storm warning, an evil autumn rain goes down, the mood drops. Not so easy to find a cozy place to warm up. My actually animated place, over which I will certainly write another time) is propitious and the prospect of pushing me with another blurred form to a tiny cat table lets me return. But where, with soaking clothes and without umbrella? So I – much unplanned and unintentional – stranded in a place I have seen as a tourist café, right on the market square, in the immediate vicinity of the Kaiserbrunnen. In sunny weather the bistrotics are in rows in front of the door and are always well occupied, especially when it comes to listening to street musicians. But now the entire outdoor cellar was tied together and I stand for cautious suspicion, the few steps to the local. Surprise: amazingly spacious interiors, architecturally well divided with a living area at the entrance and some, attractively divided niches and seating areas. In the early evening the restaurant is already well visited, but there are still many free places. Why this restaurant on Lake Constance calls itself Casablanca is in the stars. The Moroccan cuisine is definitely not too bright. For this, the walls decorate film quotes and film posters. The menu reminds of a pizzeria or an Italian restaurant in German hand. But somehow I don't like pizza, pasta or gelati. You can choose between almost 20 pizzas and even more pasta, not to mention bananas divided 6,20 euros) or Coppa Amarena 6,80 euros. After some male service employees have successfully slept past me, I can finally make eye contact with one of them. It uses a playful approach, attracts some Italian fleas from its register and takes up the order at a given time. Rather, I choose the Greek salad 10.60 euros), almost a culinary average between Casablanca and Naples. What lands on my table a quarter of an hour later takes away any description. In the kitchen there were apparently some ingredients of tasteless cucumber slices, red chopped leaf salad strips, dice pseudo-foot cheese, fade onion rings, dry olives) on the plate without any arrangement, without spices, without taste. For this purpose, pizza bread is served, which – to close after the aggregate condition – is likely to be left before yesterday. Everything in a Lutheran disaster. I forgot what Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman once ate, but certainly not a Greek salad.... I don't want to get crazy. It is warm and chubby in the restaurant, as an individual you are not pushed onto the table of a cat, but has a cozy, shielded seating area for yourself, the toilets are flat to reach and not over a halson-breaking staircase as in other places), the pseudo-Italo waiter throws a look in my direction and the prices are not completely covered. Even though the 0.2-liter white choir was not worth its 4.30 euros. Also positive to mention: The restaurant has opened seven days a week and there is a warm kitchen from 11 am to 24 pm. The interior architect has worked well and staged skillfully. Not to mention the outdoor possibilities in good weather see above). Nonetheless, I cannot get rid of the unpleasant feeling that you aim at running and unqualified tourists who do not come back anyway. I definitely don't want to go to Casablanca anymore. Konstanz has more to offer!"

"In general, there is probably this question at Jauch: In which building was the only pope election on German soil? Responsibility: in a church in a department store in a monastery in a town hall What we can say is that it was in Konstanz on the beautiful Lake Constance. The Lake Constance has two properties: It is large and full of water and there are mountains around them. Constance is a lively city on the edge of the lake, popularly visited by tourists and, thanks to the charm of their old town, is also really worth seeing. In the old town there is also Café/Restaurant/Bar Wessenberg, a name that allows every Germanist to converge the water in his mouth. In addition to an interior, there is also an inner courtyard, which is large and spacious and flooded with light through sunsail, but is flooded with non-tolerating light. Food There is a menu supplemented by regular daily meals. The good of daily dishes available until 15:00 is that they are quite affordable and an oven potato can be eaten once. Otherwise there is a little noodles, a little mouth pockets and beef must not be missing. The kitchen is bourgeois, a little it is of course also mass production, but quite right. Service The service is here flott, flott, flott, what in size or Insight is quite admirable. Quick, precise, beautiful, you can describe this. What else? The resolution is of course answer b), the department store where the merchants normally sold their goods, is directly at the port and is immediately visible to all tourists arriving by ship. Even more exciting than this fact is, of course, the fact that the Council, which ultimately led to success with the election of the Pope, took several years to come across the two other Popes, and that the constancy of the Middle Ages succeeded in leading a congress with several thousand international guests without starving them. Above all, the poorer population did not suffer, because this was usually the first to eat. The Constance Citizenship tried to fulfil this with price commitments, for example in eggs. Everyone was obliged to sell eggs to all others and, if necessary, at a fixed price, so that in the Middle Ages the supply of all in the Council was guaranteed. Of course, it's fun to bridge the streets of Konstanz and experience something this time, but we also enjoyed finding a good restaurant."
