"The place to dine in Ogunquit, Maine. We visited Nikanos for the first time after favorable reviews. For beginners, I ordered the shells that were the best I ever had. What taste and sauce were made with a delicate Ouzo recipe. My companion had the grilled octopus over a mixture of beans, tomatoes and potatoes that were just delicious. For Entrees I ordered the braided lamb and the better half ordered the fish of the day that was branzino. Again both were wonderful and burst with taste. The service was great... our waiter Christian did double duty as a bartender, but was on the job. Our host, Mark and Jennifer, who are also owners, were very present and friendly and often checked for us, although it was a very busy night. We were not disappointed by Nikanos and will definitely return. We were very happy to see how lively it was dispite Covid-19. We wish them success. Hold on and see. You'll be back as we will. From today on August 22, I'm back three times. Every time better than the last. Mark and Jennifer are proud of a very lively and upcoming institution. I praise them and the entire staff for devoting to a successful business. On 30 July 2021 I had the pleasure of returning to this very successful establishment. it was nice to be welcomed by Jennifer and then Mark owners of the Fine Dining Restaurant. The service staff and, above all, the executive cook continued with the know-how of customer support. Meals were excellent and satisfying. No matter what you choose to order, you will be satisfied with your choice. The shells, lambs, chickens are supposed to die. Not to mention Desserts.
