"We had a wonderful experience at Chop . We chose the early seating menu and had a 5:00 reservation outside. Due to the weather we called at 3:00 to ask if we could change to inside seating and we were changed to inside with no problem. Our server was excellent I apologize for not remembering his name} he saw to our every need. The service was quick and the food was delicious. We will definitely go back when we are in Sister Bay."

"Al johnsons restaurant is a unique experience. Goats on the roof (unfortunately it was a hot day and we missed seeing them) and swiss art. It 's a bit crowded for seating. It took us a minute to get settled and in that time a bald waiter stood thereimpatiently and said **** while waiting. I had to sit in a space that i had servers swinging plates over my head a fewtimes. The food over all was a different experience. It wasn 't my favorite or anything I 'd rave about but It was a fillingmeal.For the price however, I would either expect better food, more food,or lower cost. The wait staff were dressed in Swissattire. Our waitress was great she was Attentive and understanding. Just after i finished eating I was still feeling car sickand thought the food wasn 't sitting well with it. I tried to make my way to the bathroom and there was a waitress standing thereat the entrance telling me that i had to go across the lawn in the middle (see pic) and around the building to a different setof bathrooms. I felt this was so rude and inconsiderate. So with a green face i tried to navigate my way through crowds. Ithought for sure my lunch was going to end up on someone. So between the placement of our seating, rude staff and being sent toanother building to puke. I would not go back. Sure having goats on the roof is cool. But they didn 't even have that going forthem today."

"Went there last Sunday and the atmosphere was really nice. We showed up a bit early for our reservation but the hostess was able to help seat us right away. Our waitress was really nice. The food was so good! We got steaks. I got a filet mignon and it was beyond good! Easy to cut and seriously melt like butter in your mouth, speaking of which even their bread is good. Also love the scallops and potstickers. We had a very lovely night! Thank you Chop!"

"Don?t take this lightly, this is quite literally the best spot in Door County. The food is absolutely amazing, no matter what you order and the view, especially for sunsets, is unmatched paired with a terrific cocktail. On top of that, they are incredibly accommodating for gluten free/celiac needs. Our server Kady was fantastic in explaining our options and putting our worries to rest. We highly recommend the tostadas and tenderloin sliders. Best food we had all week."

"Grasses used to have more vegan options in the past and I miss them! Unless you want a salad, the only option is to modify the hippie burrito to exclude cheese and dressing. In my opinion, this leave the burrito flavorless. Id love to see Grasses put a few more vegan options on their menu again since their food is so fresh and they emphasize healthy/local food."

"Find another place. 10 of us went in at 4:30 Monday for drinks and food. Waitress didn’t stop at table for like 10 minutes so we went to bar to order drinks. That pissed her off, the bartender stopped taking our orders and she never came by our table again. Left after the half of us that got drinks finished them. "Drink Coffee is my favorite coffee shop in Door County. My family vacations in Door County every year and this is our go to place for coffee, a quick lunch and great bakery. Being from Milwaukee, I love Anodyne coffee and Drink Coffee serves it! All of the bakery is made from scratch and the sandwiches are made with real, fresh ingredients. You can tell that they are dedicated to good, quality product."

"I could not say enough about this place. We came here for lunch, and it was SO good! We got the Turkey, brie, and cranberry sandwich which was out of this world amazing! Additionally, we got the cheese and sausage platter which had a wonderful selection of cheeses, the goat gelato the salted caramel was to die for, and we bought some cheese to take home with us. I have never liked goat cheese, but they were all fabulous. Lastly, the service was so good! There was a lady that was working that was so amazing, friendly, and answered all our questions. We will definitely be back if we are in the area. Thank you for such a great experience!"

"I visited for the first time today, due to a recommendation from one of the ladies at Corner Of The Past, and I did not regret it. I will be back, because the food was great and the staff was even better. I tend to be critical of restaurants, since I spent many years in the kitchen of several restaurants. I could find no faults here. Great job folks. I will definitely recommend your establishment, and hopefully get my parents to kick their Shoreline habit, for at least one meal, when they visit in August."

"From the moment we were greeted warmly at the door, my family and I knew our time at the Boathouse on the Bay was going to be excellent. It was: the waitstaff was attentive and helpful, the food was quite good and the beer list had enough variety for all but the pickiest beer lover. Its a great location overlooking the bay. Live music at 3 on a Wednesday was a pleasant surprise. We are definitely making The Boathouse a spot in our regular Door rotation."

"Two words: Pin and Ball. This awesome place has SIX pinball games, plus video games like Galaga and Ms Pac Man! Oh, and the proprietor has been there 20 years and couldn't be friendlier. "We were seated on the porch which we loved. We chose the early three-course dinner and were very pleased. I started with the Calamari, which was excellent, and my husband had the Caesar salad which he enjoyed. My husband savored the salmon and I got the crab cakes. I thought these cakes were the closest to those in Baltimore for which I'm always searching to find. My husband ended with Cherry pie and my dessert was a key lime pie. It was more like a key lime cheesecake"

"I 've been here several times over the course of many years. It 's always nice and the food and service are great. On the weekends, be prepared for a long wait time for a table for breakfast. Like two hours. And it 's pretty touristy. They 've expanded a lot to an outdoor beer/entertainment garden and another gift shop. I would get the Swedish pancakes with lingonberry sauce. Yum. If you 've never been in Door County, I would go. If the wait in the morning is just too long for you, I would go down the road to Summer Kitchen restaurant. Really cute with good food as well. Pretty flowers. Good luck."

"All of the food we had was delicious, and the wait staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and recommendations. It was really busy when we arrived, and they accidentally sat another table before us. They couldn't have been more accommodating; they apologized for the mix up, we were seated within minutes, and they put in an appetizer order of our choice on the house while the table was bussed so it was ready when we sat down. Highly recommend!"
