No one really checked on us at all, once we were getting ready to leave a complete other server who did not serve us came over complaining that we did not tip on the bill, when we were about to in cash to our server. Then wanted to argue with us about it, very unprofessional."

My boyfriend and I came here on a Wednesday night. The service was great. The bartender Luis made great cocktails for us! He was very friendly and spoke English which was a plus for us. We got a few apps (the empanadas and shrimp) and they were excellent. We will be back before our trip ends!

We had on Friday, 18. March 2022 a very important dinner. Our reservation has been confirmed and ready. When we arrived, the restaurant Light was turned on and two employees were outside. We parked in the area and when we walked on the door, the staff told us that the restaurant was closed. WTF.

"I was in various places of people from Chicago who claim they have the Italian beef and the Wiener Hot Dogs and so on and was disappointed by all. I saw Scalis advertising and thought we would try. When I grew up in Chicago, I had the Italian beef, the hot dogs the deep pizza, so my expectations were very high. We ordered the Italian beef, the Wiener Hot Dog, the Gyro, we also ordered the traditional Italian sausage pizza. We wanted to get a taste of these well-known dishes from home. I gave them a 5-star review for the following food was great, the service was great, spoke to the owner Patty and she was also very nice. I can say it will never be the same as at home, but that was very close. Our next thing to try is the deep dish pizza, a head up you must order at least 35 minutes before arrival, because the deep dish takes awhile to cook."

"Loved the food. Cheese stuffed, bacon wrapped shrimp on a bed of dirty rice. Super flavorful, mouth watering dish. Certainly a new favorite. The popcorn crawfish salad is delicious. Creamy salad dressing on plenty of mixed greens and topped with plenty of fried tails. If you are going to have a salad for your entree, this one is it. Also a heartfelt thank you to the best waitress there, Mirian. She gave us fantastic service and she is an overall delight to talk with."

"It has really good barbecue. The people were friendly, kind, accommodating. My only complaint is because I have a restricted diet I asked for only butter on my potato with the meat on the side they filled the potato with the meat. Sitting on a bench was not too comfortable but ALL in ALL, it is a FUN place to dine in. The food is 5 star the staff was very accommodating kind. I only gave it 4 stars cause the waiter told me he’d put the barbecue beef on the side. it was difficult seating for a handicapped person to get in out with bench seating. We had several handicapped people in our birthday party group. Still, I would highly recommend I’d love to go back because the food was so good the staff was pleasant accommodating."
