"I live in Firethorne and have frequented Agave often. Unfortunately, my recent TexMex dining experience was subpar. I had a group of 6, and we were seated inside where the music was too loud. Despite asking the waiter to lower the volume, it remained the same. Additionally, the waiter forgot one person's drink order and two in my party ordered tortilla soup, only to receive what appeared to be chili instead. When I ordered a tamale, I was told that the chef hadn't prepared any that night. After waiting 15 minutes, I was offered a complimentary dish, but at that point, I chose to pack up my meal and leave. If a certain dish isn't available, the staff should inform customers at the beginning...

the motherday buffet was very disappointing. the food selection was limited, the service was slow, and the 20 percent obligatory tip was ridiculous.

went for motherday brunch. the service was extremely slow, we had to grab a pitcher water ourselves so we could refill our own drinks. the food was cold, and the bbq was dry.
