"I stopped in at Akropolis for lunch. The place has mostly wooden chairs and tables and wood panel walls. Greek decorations along the upper walls, candles around the restaurant and the large windows are filled with green plants. During my lunch visit, there were only a few customers. The menu consists of gyros, souvlaki, lamb, chicken, veggie, meat, and soup and salad options. The special lunch menu costs average between 5.80-9.50€. I opted for the chicken, peppers and onions on a skewer, served with fries and a salad for 8€ and a beverage. The chicken was tender and good. Visit the restaurant today for lunch the portions were big and very tasty Staff very friendly very polite and very helpful we asked extra questions about the area everything was answered even it was busy. We recommend this restaurant for your launch or for your dinner and very nice red wine

I've eaten a lot of Greek restaurant, but this was something special. They serve you a good quality meal and the waiters were very polite and served us with a smile on the face that unfortunately lacks in so many restaurants today. They are warm-hearted and this will let us come back to this restaurant. The location is easily accessible. I would recommend it.

Recommended by a hotel staff member as where he goes to eat we turned up without booking. The room was about a third full but was completely full by the time we left. Our waitress spoke good English and we proceeded to order enough small plates to feed 6 people for just the two of us. Upon arrival the food looked and smelled amazing and we devoured the lot! The bill, when it came, was extremely light, we would have been happy to pay 50% more. No tourists, good food, good service and economical.
