"The ambiance of the place was very beautiful . The vibes were definitely there . However, the waitress was very nice but got everything entirely wrong . Wrong drinks , correct appetizers that took way too long(wasn’t considered an appetizer anymore) , food wrong. Everything was just wrong . She gave us complementary sushi that we didn’t order but took tremendously long with our order to the point we got it to go . On top of everything she didn’t split the bill like we asked . She charged my friend correctly but then charged me for the entire bill . I was outdone . Sorry. Probably won’t be returning ."

Great cozy place. Great food, everything we had was wonderful and we tried over 8 different dishes. The drinks are excellent. The staff was wonderful. Definitely back.

Wow. Such a nice surprise. I was not impressed at all with the look of front when we drove up. Big difference when you walk through the door. Very cute and intimate place. Loved the pu pu platter. I'm not sushi fan, but, others with me said it was really good. Shrimp fried rice outstanding. The service was top notch. The GM was constantly walking around checking on the patrons. Highly recommend...get reservation, it's small but worth it!

"We came to Dallas for a game at the stadium. We love to travel and both are foodie. Alex did a phenomenal job taking care of us. Staff was super nice and attentive. "Abraham, I didn’t score you any less, but I wanted to alert you to an uncomfortable situation my first ever while dining at Salum. I was the first patron in the restaurant at and a very kind server recognized me and asked where I wanted to sit. I didn’t have a preference, so he suggested the middle table closest to the kitchen. I remarked that it used to be my favorite table when the kitchen was “open to the diners.” I had already been seated when another server yells from the front door, “he can’t sit there! It’s reserved!” There was nothing marking that table as reserved and the first server seemed a bit embarrassed. Second server yelled “he just called and reserved it!” I acted like it was no big deal, chose another table, but after eating, paying, and walking out, that table was still empty. I just thought that was beneath the quality service I have always received at Salum. Thanks for listening. Billy"

"My husband and I booked last minute and ended up sitting at the bar, but our service was still spectacular. Our waitress Alli was attentive, sweet and able to give amazing recommendations!
