"In advance, for the kitchen I would be awarded 7 stars if we were. The service was attentive and super friendly. The ordered table was excellently decorated and the selection of drinks was excellent. The rooms were clean and well maintained, but you have to say that in an old house it is not always possible to produce room standards as in the luxury hotel. But before the end of the evening. We had reserved a table for a birthday and selected a small selection of menu items for the guests. There was a selection of salmon creations, a soup and a salad away from the front. Everything was above average good, excellently dressed and fresh. To the main course we had the choice between filletsteak, zanderfilet, pork ends and lamb kottlets. Here, too, all the courts have voted ALL. The lamb and the fillet steak were especially praised, but also the other dishes were excellent. At the end, we had 3 different varieties of homemade sorbet that was really melting. The selection of wine and also the selection of other drinks was excellent. It was a really successful evening with delicious food, attentive service and timely and tastefully matched kitchen. The breakfast room and the breakfast were also ok but only standard. Due to the great food and service I can give quietly a certain 5 stars. I definitely wasn't here for the last time. For the info of the pictures in the appendix, I crawled directly at the table. Just delicious."

"Wir waren mit der Familie dort. Ich selbst habe einen Insalata Capricciosa gegessen und hatte selten so viel Tunfisch auf dem Teller. Auch das Dressing war sehr gut portioniert, nicht zu viel und nicht zu wenig. Der Kellner war nett aber noch ein wenig im Tiefschlaf, die Vorspeise kam zum Hauptgang. Sehr angenehm ist mir aufgefallen, dass diese Floskel "Hat es Ihnen geschmeckt" vermieden wurde, die finde ich mehr als überflüssig. Die Preise sind sehr fair, der fehlende fünfte Stern liegt im kalten und geschmacklos eingerichteten Nebenraum, in dem wir saßen. Ansonsten sehr gerne wieder mal wenn wir da sind..."

"04.06.2017 After our day trip through Wetterau and Vogelsberg, this restaurant was on our way home at Lauterbach. I haven't seen Burg Lauterbach yet. ; The host is very friendly. The menu offers soups, salads and simple dishes such as schnitzel, Rumpsteak, sprinkled,1/2 chickens, pointing out that it has 30 minutes cooking time. In summer, barbeque is offered in the Burghof for 14, 50 € per person. The prices for main dishes are in the usual range between 10 and 20 €. Mr. N. ordered a pilgrimage and a carving carving with fried bacon and fried eggs, I a Cola light and a Cordon Bleu, with some re-discussed roast potatoes instead of pommes and without frying sauce. The atmosphere is relaxed, out of a loudspeaker softly flicker music. You can enjoy the view of the castle building, the square before and the historic ensemble. The salad belonging to the dishes was served in advance. I was very happy about the crunchy leaf salad, where nowadays mostly cheaper iceberg salad is served. Among them were cucumbers, carrots and radish salad. According to Mr. Ns. Taste was too sour to lettuce. To me the roast potatoes with bacon and onions were a bit too salty, but still edible. The Cordon Bleu could score for this. For a long time, I had no Cordon Bleu that was so abundantly filled with cheese. The main dishes served were tasty and the portions plentiful. Mr. Hund was also supplied with water and leaks. But only after Herrchen was asked if he was allowed to have it. Of course, Mr Dog and it has tasted very well. Conclusion: I recommend the restaurant!"
