The opening hours of the traditional restaurant are almost ridiculous- 2 rest days, especially 11-17. After 14 no warm food.. Earlier ambitious owners have their hay in. So bad!!! No more option. Incomprehensible that you have to go on beautiful summer evenings 17:00.

Overall a very nice restaurant to me magnificent views of the Saale valley. For hikers and cyclists problematic. You must be here in time between 11am and 2pm to get a warm lunch. After 2:00 p.m. you are rejected or have to enjoy coffee and cake. The times for warm food are fixed in a compass. Consistent with the arrival of larger groups or families. But for only 2 people and on request no exception is made. You go to the next restaurant. Luckily, there are also restaurants nearby where you can also get a very good warm meal to an advanced lunch time if the bike or hiking pass could not be set up by delays after the fixed lunch hours of the restaurant for recreation. Very bad.

The restaurant is located in the upper town of Orlamündes, something hidden. A narrow, slightly small passage leads to the cozy beer garden.
