"Although this post is about the restaurant, I wanted to share that our experience staying at the Salamander Resort was spectacular. This was our final experience before leaving the resort after staying for a few nights. It was a bit unusual when we reserved a table for Sunday Brunch as the doors opened at 10:30am and we were given an 11:00am even though we requested an earlier time which they said was not available. We got to the restaurant 15 minutes early just to see if they could accommodate us, which they did. Entering the restaurant, we noticed that more than 60% of the restaurant was empty. Had a good mid week brunch with family and enjoyed the food with an overall good experience. I would check out the menu if you are in the area to see if it is worth it for you.

What a beautiful place with amazing food! The Sunday brunch was delicious and the selection of food and drinks was worth it all. Claudia and Alberto were amazing and made our visit special. I would give them 10 stars.

Had heard a lot of this resort and restaurant and finally got a chance to go. My wife and I went for an anniversary. The road getting there as a windy, not very well lit street, so careful during inclement weather. The service was excellent. But the food was not impressive. THe octopus started was fantastic, but that was the climax of the dinner. The entrees (one was the steak) and desserts fell short. Not worthy he potential accidents getting there for the food!
