The food here is extremely inauthentic. This place is notoriously hard to get a reservation at, so I was super excited when my husband managed to snag a Saturday night reservation just 2 weeks prior. Hands down the best cocktails I’ve had in Chicago. Julia Momosé is an artist and I highly recommend the “Yaki-Imo Old Fashioned”, which I can only describe as a ‘journey’ given there are so many layers and notes to savor. The “Sea Flower” is subtle but fresh and delightful and goes well with all that great caramelized onion jam in the “Maitakedon”.
