"This lovely restaurant is as close to perfection as it gets. The wait staff is kind and extremely attentive-dishes were cleared away promptly, the table was wiped down several times, questions were answered thoroughly, all peppered with some delightful conversation. The food was other worldly. We started with the watermelon salad-red onion, burrata, cucumber, cilantro, and crisp, sweet watermelon. Delicious. We also had a ravioli dish and one of the specials being offered that night. The ingredients in each one were so fresh and packed with flavor. First off the service here was amazing we arrived right before dinner mind you no reservation and we got seated fairly quick! The food was amazing we stared off with Rigatoni allá buttera then the tre mozzarella both dishes were delicious 100% recommend this place can't wait till our next visit.

Although I was sad to see Fifi's Cafe close, I was thrilled to dine at Mezzaluna. The mozzarella bar was so unique. We tried three different cheeses, olives and micro greens. Parsley pasta with rabbit, pasta with duck bolognese and bucatini with pancetta, red sauce with chili flakes. Desserts were decadent: vanilla gelato with crumbled almond cookie, whipped cream and a shot of espresso, Meyer lemon sorbet and vanilla gelato bourbon barrel stout float. It was a fantastic Italian feast from beginning to end. I'll drive all the way from San Diego again to eat here.
