"When it comes to having Thai food we are all different. Some like it simple. Others like it spicy. Others want curry. Others want noodles. And others prefer something that is made for here. After having worked in Thailand I have a style and taste I look for to remind me of being there and having meals made in local places or by a family. It is easy enough. So, coming to Blue Moon was a new experience. It was recommended, so we decided to visit. As is typical it was a large selection to choose from. From salads, to soups, to entrees and more. We started with Triangle Tofu which was simply cooked tofu. You dip it into a sweet sauce and it is a good start. We also had the salad rolled with shrimp inside. You always dip this into a peanut type sauce. The shrimp was fresh and tasty. A good way to go. Next we had our meals. Naturally we ordered Pad Thai with tofu. This is on a noodle with tofu and a light sauce. There were no vegetables in this version. And I ordered a #1 mild spice to give it a try. It was a bit dry and not spicy at all. I needed to get more spicy sauce and add it to make it taste like I eat over in Thailand from the cart on the street. This was not hot at all. We also tried a chicken with dry fried noodles. The chicken was good, but the noodles were salty. You definitely knew that. We stopped eating this one. In the end there were plenty of left-overs for another day. The teams is nise. Thee price is good. The atmosphere was fine. But if you like a spicy taste you need to ask for that before you start. It is worth the try."
