"This has been a family celebration spot for several years — but the last two times it has taken way too long to get our meal. We almost walked out today. We will not be returning. The seating hostess should tell the customer that “the chef is alone and you can count on your meal taking an hour to receive after ordering.” That way, you can make a decision what to do. Instead, often you wait to be seated, and then, after you sit and order, you better make sure you have no obligations for the rest of the afternoon. It was a big disappointment today for our celebratory plans. Just let the customer know the situation! That is a fair request."
