"First off I will say the pizza is great. Service is poor at best. This is my 4th time here in the last 6 weeks. We recently bought a place here in Rockport. Panjo’s is the only place for pizza down here unless you consider Pizza Hut, or Dominos pizza. No disrespect, and in a lot of ways what you get in the way of service at those places is better. First off, forget calling ahead to try and order, and ordering online??? Forget about it Panjo’s does not even have that capability. They stated “we are a small business and do not need to offer online ordering.” I’m sorry but a well run business offers their customers a variety of ways to access their products, whether it be storefront, online, curbside, etc.. Therefore on a busy Friday, or Saturday night, you have to actually go there, stand in line just to order then be given your estimated wait tome. Only to drive back, or hang around at the restaurant which based off previous experience I advise against. Main reason being that they charge for fountain drink refills!!!!!!!!! I mean who does that these days???? Charge me double for the price of the drink and don’t bother me with a .50 refill it’s annoying and honestly unacceptable. I cannot think of a single restaurant, fast food or sit down that charges for refills these days. The folks that work there are RUDE. They do not have ranch, and they do not have sweet tea. What pizza place in Texas serves pizza and not ranch!!??? I’m sorry, but I will NEVER go back to Panjo’s ever again. I would rather eat mediocre pizza with Ranch, unlimited refills and good customer service then spend another dime at this establishment. This business model will not last and I’ll be looking forward to seeing them get closed down. Dying business model that refuses to adapt to newer more modern times."

"My husband and I went here to celebrate our 12th anniversary tonight. I have so many good things to say! Let me start with the hostess ... she was the sweetest lady seemed to genuinely enjoy her job. It's so nice when the first person to greet you is kind full of joy. Our waitress, Andrea, was new, but she was fantastic! Very kind, attentive to the perfect extent! She didn't hover but she came by at just the right times to check in on us. Our food was great! They first brought us freshly made, warm bread that was delicious! The presentation of our dinners was perfect! My husband had the fried shrimp and found the batter to be very tasty! I ordered a ribeye steak, loaded baked potato asparagus. There was a slight misunderstanding as to how the cook thought I wanted my steak vs the way our waitress told him I wanted it. Unfortunately, it was under cooked. I didn't want to send it back, but even the waitress could see it wasn't right. She offered to bring me a fresh potato asparagus, but I declined. I was pleasantly surprised when the manager came to our table to tell us that she noticed the mistake. That was the most pleasant surprise of the night. How kind of her to come to us without us asking! That was refreshing to say the least. We were treated so well by everyone there. We are only visiting but we love this area. The next time we come back, we will absolutely return to this restaurant! I strongly recommend this place! The atmosphere staff are amazing and we thank them for a very nice evening! Oh, and there are beautifully made replicas of ships, schooners fishing boats on display. Be sure to check them out!"
