"Cosy restaurant with a variety of food and drinks. I was put off a little by the bad reviews, but I was very pleased with the food here. They didn’t have my first choice of meal or wine, but what I did have was absolutely delicious some of the best food I’ve had in Bodø. The tagliatelle with chicken is so, so good. For dessert I chose the chocolate raspberry mousse ice cream with pistachios. It was heavenly. The staff are also all nice and seem happy to be working there."

"Visit on 07/24/2023 We visited the restaurant around noon and ordered a la carte. I ordered a signature menu for 645 NOK with starter (reindeer tataki)/main course (grilled cod)/dessert (panna cotta) my wife ordered a risotto for 295 NOK. I was told that the reindeer tataki was out of stock but I could choose another starter. I then decided on another dish. Afterwards we unfortunately had to wait almost 1 hour, which in itself is very borderline as the restaurant was not even fully occupied. Then we both got our main course which tasted absolutely perfect. The chefs know what they are doing. However, if you read it correctly, you will now realize that something is wrong. Because my starter wasn't served beforehand. When the waitress wanted to ask me if they could serve the dessert, I asked her about it and we agreed that I would pay for the fish and the dessert separately, but that I would rather order a rhubarb parfait instead of the panna cotta. The reason why I give the service here 4 out of 5 stars is due to the action that happened now. I got my dessert relatively quickly and started to eat. Now another lady came along and also handed my wife a rhubarb parfait as house compensation. That this happened without complaining on our part at the restaurant's own initiative is worthy of all credit. However, when I wanted to pay, the price of my menu was also reduced by 50%. I've never experienced anything like this before, so it just has to be mentioned. Quality of the food 5/5 there is nothing to complain about Service needs to be faster, but problem solving is great. 4/5 Ambience is totally okay, modern restaurant at the harbor with enough outdoor seating 4/5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: kr 400–500 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"

"I would say an almost unmissable dining experience in Bergen. Set in a beautiful historical building along the famous waterfront, siting inside is an experience in itself. The service was excellent, attentive and breaks between courses. The fish soup, fried catfish and fish duo I can personally recommend. Then for dessert there is only one choice, the brown cheese ice cream. Our waiter Frank, who again was excellent the whole time strongly recommended it to us and I was so wrong to initially doubt him, it is truly delicious"

"My first visit to this Italian restaurant in Lillestrøm. A great option for lunch, and a more casual alternative to the well established Fratelli a couple of blocks away. Apparently, Casa Mia's chef comes from the latter which actually explains a couple of things: At recent visits to Fratelli I have noticed that panna cotta has been removed from the desert menu, and obviously have had to complain about it to the staff. Now panna cotta re appeared on Casa Mia's menu. Coincidence? I think not. Even though, any Italian restaurant with respect for themselves should have panna cotta on their menu. Anyway, food was great, service was good, and the restaurant itself was very cozy. Will definitely be back!"

"First I’ll say that I feel bad leaving a negative review as everyone we interacted was kind and trying their best. With that being said, I’m a bit baffled by our experience. The reviews are fantastic, but we did not enjoy it and it didn’t seem like an off night but rather a lack of attention to detail and quality. First, our waiter seemed inexperienced and not ready to be on his own. He had a hard time describing dishes and was just awkward in his interactions with us. The food was generally not memorable. Our first dish was a whale carpaccio which was exciting to try and I thought it was good but my fiancé did not enjoy it, and I imagine it’s not a big hit with international travelers. The main fish dish was totally over salted and the lowlight. I had been thinking of a three star review beforehand, but this was the point where I felt the experience had garnered a one star review. Before our main dish came out there was a shellfish tower that was an add on to the five course menu. We opted not to get it. Half the dining room did and as they ate it the rest of us sat around for 45 minutes waiting for the next course. Overall there was a lack of pacing to the meal and we spent a lot of time waiting. There seemed to be a lack of organization, waiters came out with food then went back to the kitchen several times or didn’t seem to know where they were going. We weren’t given a beverage list which was odd. One dish was dropped off, the waiter mentioned he’d be back to describe it and then went to another table to serve them and then came back to us. We’ve never had that happen before. People were brought to the wine cellar by one waiter and another one had brought a separate group so they awkwardly waited for the others in the hallway. There were other little oddities I can’t recall as well. Overall it’s a cute concept and the space was beautiful, but there are much better ways to spend $100+ on a dinner experience. "it is an excellent eating and weeping on a 10-course festival, without doubt. but for a Michelin star place the service was hasting (may perhaps be underoccupied at our day), very briefly explaining the weed and eating and ran away, and generally no personal note of the place. also some of the dishes missed a character they were still nice but without surprise, namely the full green 4 curs, the kimchi fish 2. and the hazelnut only dessert. also the white wine varieties somewhat mixed, the stronger character of the giant should not be the first, and the mild chardonnay should not be the last white, but vice versa. it is very good overall, but for a 7000kr two-person dinner would expect higher standards to 5 stars."

"This restaurant was highly recommend however I was highly disappointed. Everything about this restaurant should give you the impression of receiving great service and good food. Everything here was simply, just fair or special, not good and not great considering it's reputation and price. Upon our arrival the host stand seem to be the beginning of confusion and poor service. It's one of those restaurants with all hands on deck causes too many hands in the pot! Once seated several people came to assist us and it wasn't because of the language barrier each one of them spoke English fluently. We placed our order, got our food, ate it was full but not necessarily satisfied. There was one server she was pretty decent but the rest of the experience was mediocre. The only standout were the scallops, perfectly cooked and delicious. Look at the pictures because I really don't have the energy to discuss my average meal! Would I go back or suggest this restaurant? NOPE!"

"Decorated like your Norwegian great grandmother's kitchen, this popular restaurant in Svolvær offers great food, service and atmosphere. Book ahead and be sure to start with the delicious whale carpaccio that melts in your mouth. The menu pays homage to Norwegian food traditions so don't expect fancy emulsions or whatever is trending, just great quality produce cooked to perfection. I enjoyed the classic dish of fried cod tongues, but the rosemary lamb was probably the star of our evening. Expensive, but worth it."

"Overall, really great experience. From the moment you walk in the door, you feel very welcomed, as if they 've been expecting you all night. You then enjoy a beverage and snacks in their lounge area, before moving to your table. We had the Medium tasting menu, which was more than enough food (6 courses 4 snacks in beginning). We also did the wine pairing which was great, however if you 're going to pour wine free handed, make it a good, even pour. Our guy friend we were with received significantly larger pours of wine with every pour (6) than myself and the other female which was slightly annoying we 're all paying the same price dude give us the same amount of wine. We definitely felt like we got slightly gypped on that aspect. It also is significantly more expensive than most of the other starred restaurants in Oslo, which I am unsure why. All in all, we had a good experience and would recommend."

"I had the goat cheese, the beet root and the walnut salad and was very underwhelming. not much cost, and in the round it was only salad leaves. And the cheese didn't even taste like goat cheese. "We ordered moosatay and came with a chicken dish... the food was ordinary, not super good, neither bad, just ok. But provided wrong food is a very low level mistake to make. Maybe because they always had foodora lined up in front of their door (constantly 1-3 foodora waiting at the door), they couldn’t give good service neither correct food to customers in the restaurant. Environment was awful too. Super noisy, the whole restaurant was as loud as kindergarten had to cancel the dessert and left to protect our ears"

"we loved our meal at lysverket. each of the dishes in the ten-course meal was fascinating on his own way, and we enjoyed the descriptions that the waiter gave us from each. the food and the service were impeccable. but the chairs were super unpleasant, especially the benches. because the dinner takes about 3 hours, it is long to sit in uncomfortable chairs. Please note that they change their seating options to fit the otherwise high quality of the restaurant! also the music did not fit the rest of the experience. I get that they probably try to be hip and edgy, but I would have preferred calm classical music. but a great experience!"

"Walking back from the cable train after a trip to Floyen (above Bergen) we walked past Escalon and saw people having fun through a window at ground level. With this a fantastic bbq cooking smell it hooked us in and we had a great tapas dinner! English menu and great staff. Great time, thanks!"
