"One of the many most important restaurants in the Mexican city in Detroit. The food is great here... rarely had a bad meal. The portions are also generous post-pandemic in contrast to many other places. Prices are affordable. Recommend a drop for lunch or dinner when in the area. Then meet the Mexican bakery on the street for a sweet treat."

"My family and I were celebrating my mother’s 73rd birthday. I phoned ahead to let them know I was running a little late and was told we have to leave after our 2 hour window. The food was mediocre but was served in a timely manner. My cousin and I did enjoy our pizza. Everyone else had pasta, steak, or salmon dishes and they said it was ok at best. Our server was attentive, kind, and well versed with the menu. The bill had a random $25 open food item on it. Our bill was for 10 people and everything was accounted for for but that one item. Pay attention to your bill. Lastly, the bartender gave my family not so pleasant looks the whole time we were there. The ambiance was nice."

"This restaurant is excellent in my opinion. The food is incredibly delicious, with unique flavors and recipes. The dumplings are outstanding. The cheeseburger is enormous and definitely worth the price. The tres leches dessert is probably the most delicious you'll ever taste. I can't wait to try their Sunday brunch. The patio offers ample outdoor seating for the summer. You will enjoy it."

"From valet to hostess to chef everyone was amazing. Every ingredient of every dish was perfectly cooked and amazingly flavorful. Love this place and will be back. Certainly have to seek this place out in terms of location but it's worth every minute of the drive and for what you get this place is an outstanding value."

Hygrade Deli has been in business for over 65 years, managing to keep the same family running it for the past 45 years. The staff treats you like family and the food is on pointCorned Beef is one of my favorite sandwiches. Slather on Thousand Island and top with kraut and its the best! When I heard that Hygrade Deli was the place to score one of their famous Reubens, I couldn’t wait to get in there and try one. That’s not all they have. With a menu including sandwiches, soups, entrees, and breakfast, Hygrade Deli is your one stop shop for everything delicious."
