"My wife and I, together with our three young children, returned to Café Marquesa at the end of September. It is a small intimate setting and both nights we were the only people with children, but based on what we had read, we had to take part. The woman who set up the reservation was pleasant and accommodating. We had a big stroller that contains two infants and made sure we had room. The kitchen was impeccable. Best meal in Key West and one of the best I ever had, and that comes from a New Yorker. Loved every dish and appreciated every bite. The ambience was calm and relaxed. Service was friendly and attentive. Unique cooking style. Dessert was also amazing.

Best food in the West. Every court knocked it out of the park. Started with a very nice wedge salad we shared it on two plates that were beautiful and facilitated things. Great plus in service. Seared Tuna appetizer was brilliant. Very fresh and tasteful so much that we even rode over the tomatoes. Next we shared the soft shell crab that was amazingly crispy and was accompanied by amazingly tasteful vegetables. Definitely a highlight of the night. For the net we had the pork chop that was huge and tasty and the butter poached lobster that was as decadent as he sounded. Finished with some important lime cakes you could say, uses fresh limes and some amazing fluffy beignets that were awesome....

There are only 2 outdoor dining tables with views of beautiful palms and greens next to it. At Cafe Marquesa you can expect from the moment you see the host until you leave the restaurant. The table was served an Amuse Bouche, which was watermelon juice with cucumber and some herbs. We then tried Seared and Chilled Yellow Fin Tuna, which with avocado pure, fresh tomatoes and olives, which certainly delicious. Mostly, I had groupers served with vegetables and beans.
