"10/10 recommend! Read a few good reviews online so we decided to stop and check it out on our way back to Texas. Service was great and the food was amazing! Large portions on adult and kid menu items. We had the seafood stuffed baked potato, gumbo dinner, garlic shrimp pasta and fried crawfish from the kid’s menu. No complaints at all. Meal type: Dinner"

"I've heard so many good things about this place but my experience wasn't good at all. Everybody raves about the brisket so I had to try it. The inner part was OK but the edges were burnt. I'm not talking about burnt ends burnt. I'm talking about burnt so bad I literally couldn't chew it and had to spit it out. Burnt ends/edges are fine and to be expected but this was literally like charcoal. The Mac and cheese was fair and the beans were very good. Maybe I just got a bad batch but I have to call it like it is. I may go back and give them another chance but I'm hesitant to do so."

"Excellent!. I work in Port Allen and Bergeron's is by far the best dining experience in town! Prices are extremely reasonable, especially for the large portions. I haven't had anything here I didn't like, I especially enjoy the Averie Special on Thursdays! The staff is always friendly and they seem like they really care about the place, also, service is really, really quick. I usually call in my order and it's ready in the 5 minutes it takes for me to get over there! Highly recommend!"

"Very inviting BBQ aroma as soon as you drive up, roll down the window or exit the vehicle. Smiling faces behind the counter greeted me upon entry. Surprisingly broad menu options displayed, for what appears to be a hole in the wall from the exterior of the restaurant. I ordered a Loaded Potato with smoked sausage, all the way, and a side of queso. I also ordered a drink. I included a tip with my order which came out to a couple bucks over $20. I was very much pleased with my meal and plan to return here for a new food experience very soon! Delicious!"

"What an amazing find! I grew up eating Po Boys and this cozy restaurant doesn?t disappoint! Inside is immaculate and beautifully decorated. Outside is clean and ready the seating is well lit. Staff are super friendly and attentive. And the sandwich?.OMG! Delicious and done to perfection. Veggies are fresh and the bread is crisp and chewy like it would be. If I could give 6 stars I would! Go by next time you?re in Port Allen. Or make a trip. You won?t be disappointed!!"
