"Went for the first time. Had reservations for 7pm and were seat promptly. Apparently the restaurant had been reserved for a large private party. This had an effect on the night. Our waiter Sal was very nice and helpful. He went over the specials. We ordered a couple of drinks from the bar and placed our order. For appetizer we had mussels marinara and they were solid. For entree we ordered salmon and a lobster shrimp meal. From the time the order was place it had to be about 40 minutes until any food showed up. I think the kitchen was overwhelmed by the party. The staff was very attentive to my wife's allergy modifying a dish so she could enjoy a good meal. Food was delicious and fresh.

Attended Capriccio for Restaurant Week. Made a reservation and was seated upon arrival. Server was attentive and prompt with service. Restaurant was not overly crowded as we went during off season, which was actually quite nice. We tend to patronize the local restaurants in the Fall, Winter and Spring months when the summer crowds have left the island. Will definitely go back!!

"Best Coffee Shop Ever! If on the Jersey Shore, this place ROCKS! Great coffee, great service, great food! The workers are great! You feel good! They greet you with a smile and when you go, say good bye (with your name). I was just there a few days, but they seem to know their repeated customers with names. Muffins are also phenomenal!"

"I have been coming to Seaside in the summer my entire life. My family orders from other Mexican inspired restaurants in the area and for years I have been disappointed with their food. Monte 's is a blessing. The moment I stepped foot inside to pick up my food I could tell this place was authentic. The food followed through. My tinga tostadas were one of my favorite meals I have eaten in months. They were absolutely up to the highest quality bar I have for comparison. The quesadillas were also outstanding. The veggie was delicious, though my uncle complained that the shrimp one did not have enough shrimp in it. The tacos all had good tortillas. The carnitas tasted good, it had a full flavor to it. The chicken in the tacos was dry, but the provided sauces were good. You can tell the chips are made in-house. They were very good. The guac was smoother than I expected. My family wanted empanadas. They were fine, but I didn 't expect anything special on that front from a Mexican place. On the whole this was not the best Mexican food I have ever eaten, but it so far surpasses its competition and does certain things such as the tostadas, quesadillas, and chips well enough that I am giving it 5 stars. I am ashamed it took me this long to discover Monte 's in Seaside."

"I recently moved from the west side of Toms River to the east side. Decided to see a pizzeria on this page, so I saw her. I ordered them. Let me tell you the food was amazing, especially the wings to get a must. Then I called and asked her to make fried dough balls that are not on the menu and they did. They were very friendly and friendly to my needs and let me tell you that they have to put the fried dough balls on the menu ASAP excellent. The shrimp parmigiana with vodka sauce hero. Stop or Eder from them. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed. Ty Boys I'm not going anywhere else"

"Absolutely loved this restaurant! The food was so amazing. They had so many gluten free options and also many daily specials for appetizers and dinners. All the staff were very friendly and our server was great too. Yes there is limited parking (it's Lavallette, small beach town wth do you expect? And guess what calms live in the ocean (the kitchen staff cannot get out every damn piece of sand I truly hate people that leave reviews like that!!!! So if you'd love a great, fresh, amazing meal this is the local spot. We will be back again and we will leave another seller review!!! Don't let people's bitterness on wait time stear you away from this restaurant."
