"great place to breakfast lunch and dinner. the breakfast plate has so much taste and cooked fresh. great portions and prices. my favorite thing for dinner is the jerk huhn and again great taste great portions as well as price design. if they can ask for their house made juices? everything in all they will not be disappointed to go here for a soulful meal. I can't expect to eat there at lunchtime.?"

This place needs to count its days. I ordered saltfish and bake. The bake was HARD AS A ROCK I couldn't even eat it...the saltfish was good but they only gave me a spoon full.LITERALLY!!!! This was a terrible experience and they should be ashamed of their selves for skimping ppl out of their hard working money. I will never support this business again

"Pleasant Cafe is an interesting experience with a great value. It's this perfectly preserved restaurant and bar straight out of the 70s, with a vast menu, unique specials, and a full bar. And it's very affordable! Don't go here with your nose up and quick to judge, it may look old but it has a really special atmosphere that many new hipster joints couldn't recreate if they tried. "The pros- Good food, super friendly people, closes late. Cons- (As of late) Fries are not as crispy anymore. I'm not sure what happened but for some reason their fries have a soggy type texture. Slightly long wait times, my order was completely correct. Ordered a sub with bacon and their would be no bacon on my sub or given the wrong salad dressing. Other wise it's not any major issues here and I would recommend to anyone."

My favorite is the lunch menu. You can get healthy, tasty affordable selections whether it be the (preceded by Miso Soup) Bento Box or Sushi. The dinner menu (scaled down) is also available. You can dine alone or with friends, and have a view of the tropical fish tanks flush against the wall. The owners live in the neighborhood and that may also have a bearing. The sense of loyalty and responsibility to the community! I've seen many other restaurants come and go in the Neighborhood, yet JP Seafood has stood the test of time! The Bonus, Everything is so pleasing to the Eyes and that's where the introduction to any meal begins!"

"I like that sweet sip is open till 9pm. A nice little night dessert place. I'm a milk tea fanatic and they make a great tasting Brown Sugar Milk Tea. I also had an Matcha Tea egg puff which was not too sweet but just enough."
