"There aren't that many dining options in the area so the Chesapeake ought to be the top choice for a nice dinner. It was certainly a rewarding change from the disastrous meal we had at another local eatery the previous evening. There are sufficient options on the menu to satisfy most people. The food was excellent nicely presented. All the servers were friendly helpful, but the lack of fine restaurant experience on the part of some of them was evident while the lack of a deep pool of experienced wait staff in this area is understandable, management could do a better job of training. They were all quite attentive however. Sufficient COVID precautions were in place and most diners wore masks...

The food and service were wonderful ! The crab cake sandwich is the best i have ever eaten

Small portions high prices, ie three pan seared scallops for You get the idea. If you like garlic, they use lot’s of it. Tomato and burrata salad had one small piece of mozzarella cheese and over ripe small heirlooms. My oysters on the half shell had been shucked much earlier and were refrigerator dried out. They also added gratuity for a party of two. I don’t mind paying for a good quality meal, but this was not it. Sorry
