China TSENG - Meny

Wir waren heute zu Mittag in CHINA Restaurant TSENG essen. Wir haben uns für das Menü entschieden das aus einer Suppe und einer Hauptspeise besteht. Das Essen kam sehr schnell, die Portionen könnten ein wenig größer sein, die Preise sind der Örtlichkeit entsprechend moderat. Das Personal - nämlich zwei Kellnerinnen - war nicht gerade schnell und schienen auch mit wenig Gästen ein wenig überfordert und nicht sehr freundlich. Das kann aber auch an der Hitze gelegen haben. Alles in allem einen Versuch wert und für ein China Restaurant ein angenehmes mehr europäisches Ambiente und angenehme Atmosphäre.

The Tseng Restaurant is our absolute favorite place to go for lunch or dinner. All the dishes we ever had are very tasty. It's such a refined taste! The Tseng Restaurant is not a good Asian Fast Food Restaurant, it's more a gourmet place. But...not one you have to wear a tie or so, but a perfect place to feel good and relaxed and have great food. Furthermore, the owners, Conny and Josef (she is from Taiwan, and he is an Chinese Indian, and that is the way they cook) are extraordinary friendly, also to children. Most of the guests of Tseng Restaurant are regulars (as we are). That says a lot about the food you will get there!!

Popped in by myself as I was in Vienna and craving a good Chinese. Warmly welcomed, given a big glass of free water without even asking (normally asking for table water returns moodily glares There were a number of daily specials alongside a large menu.. it wasn't in English which is one improvement i'd recommend, but she was so kind she asked another guest to help! As it was, I just asked if I could have chicken noodles I got the impression you could ask for anything and the chef would cook it on request was asked how spicy i'd like them, and when they came they were so incredibly tasty and spiced well but with a dish of chilli sauce to spice to my liking. All the vegetables were very fresh...
