"The location is really nice, but the service and the food were under expectations. A local fish soup fish soup Comturey with fresh fish from Lake Constance, vegetable stripes looked very similar to a soup with a salmon scrap, finally I could see a vegetable strip (green slice). For four people it took 45 min. until the first meal arrived, and then another 15 until everyone had their meal. The wild herbal salad (Wild herbal salad) was a common mixed green leaf salad. The fish (Saibling) was lukewarm, the spinach came only after we had asked."

We had lunch in Comturey on Mainau Island because we would like to eat with fresh local ingredients. We were not disappointed at all. Great fresh food and delicious.

It 's been renovated and there is more space now. You don 't feel as cramped as before. They still have a dog bar where your dog can drink fresh water. The Food is well presented and very good. Our grilled vegetables and potatoes unfortunately were cold, but our friend 's fish was done with perfection.

the restaurant is certainly living because of his location, not a lot of competitors (2 restaurants on the island) and the outstanding service. really very friendly, helpful and motivated staff! food is good. organic/regional. you can watch the chef cooking your meat. the kitchen is in the middle-back of the restaurant. so choose a table near the windows, the air exhaust above the kitchen, is not good enough. if you are too near the chef, you smell like a currywurst!
