"The place to dine in Ogunquit, Maine. We visited Nikanos for the first time after favorable reviews. For beginners, I ordered the shells that were the best I ever had. What taste and sauce were made with a delicate Ouzo recipe. My companion had the grilled octopus over a mixture of beans, tomatoes and potatoes that were just delicious. I really enjoyed my meal here. Great atmosphere and very relaxed, but at the same time has a decadent feeling for the dinning experience. Portions and service were both great! The ingredients were fresh and the pistachio ice cream was devinated. Worth a visit when you're in the area.

The food was pretty good. The lobster pasta dish was good. The spanakopita was also good. The Greek salad was fresh. The very pleasant hostess found two seats at the bar to eat in this booked up restaurant. The male bartender was terrific, though the couple to our side laughed at how the female bartender completely ignored us and only paid attention to the alcohol drinkers (not professional, not nice).

I rarely write reviews, but that was necessary! My husband, 8 months old son and I ate there at noon and everything was great. The atmosphere was funny. It was a sunny but cool day, so we sat outside with a heating next to us and there was live music game. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to make risk-free recommendations for my milk and soy allergy... and with the kitchen confirmed that everything was properly prepared. The food was great! We will definitely come back!
