"we had the most wonderful dinner at giovanni’s. the food was great and the service was even better. my wife had the calf parmesan from which she was slapped. the Tuscan suppe and salat with a house made tomaten and basilikum dressing also a hit. I had the ribeye aka cavor, one of the best steaks that I had in a long time, covered with a light scab sauce with green pfeffer grains. hot broth. fresh vegetables. our server was megan. if they ever drive through lampasas or if they are looking for a destination to dinner, giovanni’s is a great place to go. ask for megan."

Love the staff, atmosphere, and especially the food at the location in Cove, just wish the one here in Lampasas was even 10% as good.

Mother's day in a wine barrel! Excellent service, excellent food. Susie was a great server, helped to make our mother's day special. Even helped with gluten free, diary free options. Really enjoyed the pizza.

The Fettuccine Alfredo wasn't as good as it should be but the Chicken Parm is pretty standard.The Chicken Marsala was not like anything I have ever eaten in a Italian restaurant. It had more of an Asian taste profile and even looked like an Asian wet noodle dish. I was not a fan.The Veal was decent. I find the wine sauce to be lacking, it just doesn't stand out like it is supposed to.Over all this place is decent. It's clean and enjoyable. If you're craving more atmosphere than food this is the place for you.
