"Had to make a run to Mira Mesa and decided to try Isshido ramen. In a strip mall, isshido is a nice lil spot with simple decor. Single me, I always get seated at the bar area.As always, I ordered takoyaki and their signature paitan ramen. Takoyaki wasn't freshly made(as all ramen spots) but it was okay than others. The ramen was pretty good. Enough without ordering extra noodles. Doesn't come with much so you have to add. Wish they had bamboo shoots and seaweed as the basic. I don't like corn with my ramen.The broth was tasty and hasn't as hot when it came out. So the broth and noodle didn't maintain as it got warm quick. The charshu was really good. I had my first ever ramen here. I always thought ramen had meat. But the vegetarian ramen here is surprisingly very good. I had sopporro vegetarian ramen.Vegetarian options: Good number of vegetarian options

Came here with my family of 7 for a dinner on Sunday. We were seated and provided water right away. There was only one other table filled, but the place filled shortly after we arrived. There are several different size tables and a bar to sit at. With only one server that day, she was still quick to serve everyone coming it and the tables. She definitely is a friendly, hard worker. We ordered appetizers (squid karaage, chicken gyoza, and park gyoza) to share first to give us more time to figure out our main meals.
