Why do they make you use your credit card for a reservation even though when you get there it’s practically empty. They make you pay for your food and tip Before anything comes out which is annoying and weird. Finally food is nothing exciting presentation is very weak. There are other much better sushi places on the same block

As always, the food at Izakaya Sasaya was delicious. We love coming here when craving “meat on sticks” and roasted ginnan. Who knew such a craving existed? We really like the Japanese style ordering system where you order and prepay at a table side kiosk. It reduces interactions during these weird Covid times, and lets us order more with no hassle. It also allows us to get up and leave when we’re done!
