"I had one of the best meals of my life at the MacCallum House. We had our dog with us so we ate dinner on their heated veranda. It was a foggy, somewhat chilly night at the end of summer but the food made up for any discomfort. I enjoyed a wonderful gem salad with roasted herbed hazelnuts, flatbread and cheese while my husband enjoyed the special albondigas soup, along with a lovely glass of a delicious Savignon Blanc that we both loved. Service was outstanding. I would rate most of our dinner was excellent but I was not really impressed with the pasta. I will try something different next time.

MacCallum House is one of our favorite restaurants in the village of Mendocino. It always feels like coming home. We’ve been going there for over 30 years and it has NEVER disappointed us. The food is 5 star, the view of the ocean village gorgeous quaint and the service is always great. We love it there and highly recommend it.
