"This is a cute cafe in Harlem that is great for a while whether studying, reading or chatting with friends. It is very cozy with tons of comfortable couches and plush chairs, plus regular dining tables. The room is spacious with many interior and exterior seats. I came with friends to work for a while on a weekday. We were there for a few hours and were never rushed, yet there was ever a lack of open spaces. The prices are quite reasonable and the staff is very friendly and took the time to chat with several customers. Overall very friendly, sunny, comfortable. Very recommended."

The best breakfast café atmosphere in Upper West Side. Such cozy couches and the food is absolutely delicious. I love Croissant French Toast! It was really amazing! A great place to sit on the window with a book and enjoy yourself. One of my favorites in New York.

Max Caffe is hands down, the best cafe/coffee shop near Columbia University in the City of New York. The ambiance is wonderfully collegiate and European. Many Columbia students frequent the place, especially grad students. The food is wholesome, fresh, and very reasonably priced. They have a solid menu and a good selection of beer and wine. Furthermore, the service is excellent.

This is a fantastic café with a perfect cozy, cool atmosphere for work or study on coffee. The drinks are delicious and the food is delicious. Portions are appropriate for a price. Coffee is about $5. Sandwiches are about $10 and they have a wide choice of menu. Most of the crowd is Columbia students either study or chill and yes, although you will find a place, it is always to do with customers. Outdoor seating available.
