"This is one of my favourite places in the area for, if I get up early enough...Breakfast but for the sake of this review let's call it Brunch give and take a few hours ;D. Situated at the crossroads of Kyffhäuserstrasse and Barbarossastrasse, (not so far from Eisenacherstrasse U-Bahn this café is a firm favourite amongst locals. Average food, decent service. A 3 star venue in an area surrounded by 4 star cafes (see Gott Lob close by). They are marked down by charging almost 10euros for 2 waters. For Berlin, that's I extortionate. Shame on you.

This was our first food stop in Berlin and things got interesting when we didn't speak much German. The bartender/server didn't speak any English at all but this made things interesting in a good way. We used good translate to figure out the menu and placed our order. The beers here were really good and some of the best I have ever tasted.
