Stellar staff and service, was withdrawn from the wine/whiskey/beer list(s), a place in the menu and the taste was very satisfying. a few small problems. my wife had read her menu on opentable. she was looking forward to coq autor vin. alas, not served. the lamb could have been better thought. I would highly recommend the purple parrot. the people of hattiesburg are happy."

Yesterday, my birthday was celebrated at Purple Parrot. The food was outstanding, and the service was exceptional. Our group of 12 people received top-notch service from our server, Chris. He made each of us feel important and his level of service was unparalleled. Thank you for making my birthday unforgettable.

I was understandable that I have our jubilee dinner in purple parrot due to some less than cheaper reviews. but I'm here to tell you everything was wonderful. our waiter, chris, was the best and our food was dirty. I had the 6 unzen filet that was cooked to perfection, and the scratched greens were excellent and the dessert was divine. thanks purple parrot.

really don't know what the last few reviews were to eat, but we had great eating, the shrimp grits were from this world full of taste. my wife had the pork shank and it was fantastic. I said to my wife that there were no salt or pepper shakers at our table. after the first bit I understand why everything was fed perfectly. the crab bagnets on the Appetizer menu absolutely delicious. the desert was also top notch. if they get the chance, this is in my opnion a top 3 restaurant in h’burg. try it.
