Restaurant Au Cavalier

Stopped here spontaneously while in the area for a quick beer. We smelt how lovely the food was and decided to order. It did not disappoint! Amazing food, beautiful views and extremely friendly staff. Thank you and we look forward to coming back in the future.

The service here is super sweet. It's a family business that gives off the most genuine welcoming family vibes. The food is fantastic! And their tarts are mouth watering. The restaurant is dog friendly aswell which can sometimes be hard to find. All in all a lovely experience. Definitely will come back. Thankyou!

Staff were very kind and helpful. Food was traditional suisse (this is no longer a gourmet restaurant), good quality. View down over the plateau with the lake and alps in the background get a window seat to see it. Prices are average. We arrived at 2:30 pm Sunday and there was no problem serving us lunch. Good traditional family restaurant. Excellent views and hiking above Saint George.
