"This was our second time at dinner at the Nigl's Popup Restaurant in Krems, and it was all as wonderful as our first visit last week on Valentine's Day. Both times we chose the 4-course dinner with wine pairings. Both times we were impressed with the attention to detail that Chef Bertram pays the preparation and presentation of the food from his kitchen. Wunderschönes Ambiente vor allem, wenn man im idyllischen Gastgarten sitzen kann. Feine elegante Küche mit regionalen Zutaten. Kompetenter und herzlicher Service. Die Weine vom eigenen Weingut sind sowieso bekannt: Weißweine mit Charakter.

We had a dinner with ten friends, outside, following a wine tasting. We were all very pleased. Great food, great service. Beautiful setting... outside looking up at a Roman ruin (dreamy). GREAT meal, and we are all big time foodies we weren't even that...hungry having spent the day tasting our way through the Wachau Valley, and yet, we were excited and persuaded to eat everything. LOVELY! The son Martin gave us a great wine tasting experience too. Thanks Martin!
