"Not recommend by anyone we were fortunate to stumble on this little gem of a restaurant with Inside and outside seating. They have a small portion menu which was perfect for us and it was still a very nice size portion. We ordered the Wiener schnitzel plain and one with the mushroom gravy which was excellent - tons of mushrooms too and it came with a house salad which was very different but delicious. We had the fries and the spätzle and both were excellent. The spätzle light and buttered. The Riesling house wine was very good. We were so thrilled to get such an excellent meal for a fraction of the cost of a Michelin restaurant we went to last night and the food wasn't as good. Definitely c...

Recommended by Rheinhotel. We decided to eat in as it was windy outside. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. We are not big eaters so it was nice to be able to have a small schnitzel.

We ate at this establishment twice during our stay. The setting is a little dated, but the food was very good, and we received attentive service. The portions were huge and the prices very reasonable! An odd compliment, but the side salad was really delicious.

There were two things that made Zur Loreley a standout in the town of St. Goar: (1) you have the option to order smaller portions of some dishes and (2) the staff and chef are very professional and customer-focused. This was our favorite restaurant in this charming town.
