"Their posted hours of operation on the day my family and I showed up was until 6 pm. We got there at 5:07 and were looking over the menu. When we approached the window, the employee told us they were closed when they were clearly not done in the cooking area (orders were being prepared). We weren 't given any explanation as to why they were closed, we could only gather that maybe they had a bunch of orders to get done before 6? We weren 't sure. Can 't rate the food, since we didn 't get to eat here, and they didn 't offer any sort of reason why we couldn 't be served. Maybe next time we 're on the coast... Owner has since replied, saying have a heart! and people like you harass them all da...

Great place! So beautiful by the river, lots of seating, there’s are picnic tables by the river and covered tables up on the deck, dog friendly since it’s all outside, food was delicious!! It gets busy so call in your order if you don’t want to stay and wait it’s a beautiful spot to wait though!

Really enjoyed our meal here. The ambiance and location are just perfect for enjoying some fantastic fish and chips. The batter was excellent and even better was the beer battered fries. And that isn’t putting down the excellent fish it’s just that those fries were some of the best we’ve ever had. If you’re in the area and looking for a great meal you won’t regret it.
