"Really fun place to stop. Spare of the moment change in plans, due to weather today, and I happened upon this cozy spot. Service staff was friendly. Bar area filled with what appeared to be locals. That's always a good sign, in my book. The food was very good! Best fish chips ever. I kidded that they were an international restaurant. I had a Mexican cocktail, crab rangoon appetizer and the Irish lunch. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend that if you are in Manteo, check Stripers out."

Brought our fresh crab and shrimp just we caught in. Walked from the boat to the restaurant where They cooked it and served it hot on the deck. Had a great experience and highly recommend a visit.

Glad the food was delicious...We did understand that with low server #s attending to 3 floors of restaurant, it is going to be slow, very slow, service was friendly and apologetic. May be back during the summer again but not late summer.

The bar/restaurant was in the condo complex we stayed in. Overlooked it the first night in town in favor of what we thought would have more “local flavor”. Mistake! Good food with healthy portions. They had live music one night. Good choice of beer and other spirits. The Sun Burns will catch you by surprise! If you like rum give it a try! Nice views of the back bay!
